@nwo4life2111 i have to disagree with you. I've had Mangini's back since the first day and this team looks better overall compared to when Crennel coached the team two years ago. I mean yeah, the first year was rough but that happens when you have a new coach come in. At this point last year, the browns are 1-7 and right now they're 3-5. Mangini has the right system in place, he just needs time to execute it and it's starting to show in the win column

Today with under a min left he played for the tie what kind of coach goes for the tie when you are 3-5!!!!! @nwo4life2111 it was a smart decision to play for the tie at the end of the game. While granted, they did lose today, sometimes its better to live to fight another down instead of going for broke cause--say the following happened: scored the tying TD but miss the 2 pt conversion, then you have to onside kick the ball and pray that ball bounces your way (which most of the time doesnt happen). The Jets would have the ball back and its essentially game over.

@nwo4life2111 So when you break it down and analyze it, Mangini made the smart call, course due to a couple of player errors it didnt work out today with the Jets winning but what im saying is logic always prevails over gambling in the NFL because if a coach gambles alot and fails most of the time, he gets fired. And yea, Peyton Hillis is a monster, glad he's wearing orange and brown.

@DASCO2136 Yeah but you got to understand why Jets fans hate his guts, He was never like that claping encouring and movivating his teammates when he was a JET he was acting like Bellicheat. You say he made alot of smart calls yes he did but in this League you got to want to win EVERY GAME and not give 20 something seconds left to the other team in OT he played for the Tie and he back fired on him. Hillis is what keeps your team into contendors i see alot from the Browns next season good luck

@DASCO2136 its only been 3 games, McCoy did not prove himself when they have game tape on him like they did with Sanchez, Bradford and Stafford then thats when we'll see the true McCoy he'll have bad games this season. that CB Wright has to go along with the old aging LB's Bowens and Barton are old, WR get 2-3 of them because cribs is not the answer and thats a start for me. A new head coach would not kill your team =p

@nwo4life2111 i agree on the WRs but i think we just need one big play guy and were set. Bowens and Barton will have to be replaced eventually but they're valuable in terms of teaching how the system works and leadership in the locker room. As for Wright, yea he's having a bad year. Wouldn't surprise me to see him go. As far as a coaching change, i dont think so. We take out Mangini and all the good signs that the Browns have been showing on the field for the past month go right out the window.

@DASCO2136 Wright is the first guy that should be cut in the offseason, I think Rob Ryan is going get a new head coaching job so you'll need a new Defense of coach, But getting a big time target at WR is a must for this team. Edwards might be a head case but he was the best Browns WR threat, Mangina got rid of all the good offense of play makers the team had he must now get new players to fill the holes he caused

@nwo4life2111 I actually see it as a good thing. Clevelanders like hard working, determined, team oriented players and Edwards had more of a show-biz, diva like attitude so he had to go. I say at least trade away Wright, try to get something back in return, which wont be much but i figure something is better nothing. And as for Rob Ryan getting a coaching job---its not for sure if he's going to take it or not.

@nwo4life2111 i should also point out that when the Browns were good, back in the Bernie Kosar days, that team was built on defense and a strong ground game which eventually opened up to a more balanced offensive attack. Already the Browns have the keys for winning--a good defense and a good running game. I imagine passing offense and more defensive help will be the prioritys of Holmgren & Heckert next off season

@nwo4life2111 Unless proven otherwise, im giving Mangini the benefit of the doubt. As far as the last game, it was more of the defense getting the job done but the offense didnt capitalize because of a tough defense by the Jags and the fact that they were limited in what they could do with Josh Cribbs not playing due to injury. And i think were going to give Baltimore and Pittsburgh all they can handle, hopefully we can win those games.
