If music ranking could be transformed into the size of cosmic objects, this song would be Betelgeuse and all the songs that you would hear at any mainstream night club in America would be the size of a spec of space dust.
Everybody let me know if there are any songs you want me to upload that aren't already on Youtube. Just send me an inbox of the song and band and i'll get it up ASAP! Thanks guys :)
"Is it hopeless? / Will the fear take control? / Don't succumb to the numbing / Sting of defeat / Take this hate / Let the bile stagnate / Hoist the head of Goliath / Bask in its grace /../ Stars realign in the sky / Glaciers will melt and the oceans rise / Waves will come crashing ashore / But withstand the roar /../ And the sun will rise / Dawn will break through the blackest night / Distant in its glow / This shall pass, be still and know "
Are you sure this is Rob Flynn, or just Chuck Norris in disguise? To be honest, I think Rob Flynn is just a descendant, making him 1/2 Chuck Norris! Rob Flynn is Chuck Norris of Scream-o's.
Whatever problem I have in my life, I just stick this song on, and by the chorus I feel ten million times better. Thank you Machine Head for helping me through life. :)
fucking incredible, i need to book my ticket to go see them live... and the blackening? part 2? not as good? its a new sound and progression. musically its just as awesome and Robb's vocal lessons made this chorus and album something new and more powerful altogether
@dazb2011 I don't like the fact that they tour for nearly 4 years straight and I have to go to another state to see them, but it's fucking worth it. You've gotta consider, Rome wasn't built in a day, and Machine Head makes their music worth waiting for.
@TMGxBUFFRIDGEx Tbf I really liked The Blackening, but I overplayed it and saw them live enough times to satisfy my desire to see them.
I was interested to hear this album when it came out cuz I was waiting to see what they'd do next, and atm I've heard "I Am Hell" and "Locust", "...Hell" was pretty good, I didn't really like "Locust" that much. I find it all abit too much like "riff soup" which is what they were trying to avoid last album...
0 dislikes... fucking right haha

I have to say that I wasn't a fan of them until I saw them in concert. Now I freaking love them! This was my favorite song that they played!

You forgot a third of the lyrics!

@TheUnknownL Robb doesn't even actually do screamo. His screams are somewhat melodic, he just pressures them so heavy, making them sound awesome.

those vocal lessons for Robb Flynn really improved an already awesome voice. Battle between this and "I'am hell" for my fave song off the album.

sweet riff at 1:06. Reminds of Vio-lence a little. C'mon Rob and Phil reform Vio-lence, you can do both Vio and MH at the same time!
