I think one of the reasons why Philippines rarely get the crown for the past few years and just end up as runner-ups is due to so much PRIDE. If you are not so fluent in English, which is understandable because its a second language, then get an interpreter! If its within a local pageant, then answer in TAGALOG! It frees you from the trouble of finding the right words to express yourself in a more coherent manner. Just a mere suggestion...
I really don't understand why she had to answer in english. It's not her language.. Be a proud filipino!! Ipakita natin na mahusay tayo..!!! Why doesn't she just speak Tagalog. For example, Venus Raj would've won Miss Universe 2010 if she answered the final question in tagalog rather than english.
