Yeah i've been trying to get down the heel up method (traditional) for some time on speeds of 180 and up (i have low end pearl powershifters, so it feels impossible). Do you usually play heel up or heel toe?

yeah, that is part of it, also, i usually use headphones to hear my triggers only, but i didn't have those, so i couldnt hear my feet at all, which didn't help my playing AT ALL. I was relaxed, so i know i played decent, but who knows, ive been working on some new foot techniques since ive been back, and it has really helped out a lot. Now i know what expect when we play overseas, ill make sure to be prepared! haha.

no, everyone had their own gear(cymbals, snare, triggers etc..) I used house cymbals, inveracity snare, and the triggers i used just didnt work. i would hit and nothing would happen, and then i would hit again and it would trigger 3 or 4 times, oh well. I had a great time at the fest.
