you should try dying the plastic, it doesn't chip, it makes one clean coat, and you can find the dye at most fabric or craft stores

Dude, don't feel bad about the blue. From where I'm sitting it looks very, very good. Nicee job on the customization. The only suggestion I can make is if you can manage to do the same job on another one, do it, so you can have one to keep in each mode. I realize that might be somewhat tacky, though.

great repaint and review, the exact same thing happened to me dude, my first repaint was my custom thundercracker, and since then in terms of seeker repaints ive done a skywarp (I never got the original) and a Firestorm [gold and red seeker i made up] and im getting another to remake into god knows what, lol :D

I just got up the guts to customize the fallen. Games work shop and testors are great paint. Next up for me is human alliance wheelie.

Thew...I have never brought a transformer in my life. Dunno why. I'm not really a toy dude ( I am a gibbering slave to the Will of the Lego gods though)...but I LOVE watching your reviews.

But since I don't I just spend well over $360 to get all 6 Henkei Seekers & the Funny thing about that is those the only Classic Figures I will own besides my Beast Wars Collction & Animated Collection I just don't Like or care for the Classic Line but I always wanted the Original G1 6 Seekers & this is my proabaly my Best chance to ever get all 6 plus since getting the Original 6 would proably cost Twice that amount.

Again, yay for repaints! Awesome job Thew! :D I bought my 'arcoat in a spray can, so it's easy to seal the paint job. I didn't even know it comes in those little pots too. Citadel's also got some matte varnish, but I forget what it's called.

Oh as for chipping paint prevention. give it a coat of paint sealant, that should help.
