  • watch?v=K2JG8MsvleA <<<<< best remake ive heard

  • Let Kefka go to Skyrim Universe and let them sing in a unison.

  • @Pharphain Skyrim is not even of the same kind, so, how can you compare? (O_o)

  • Kefka. The Best Damn Villain In The Whole Damn FF Series.

  • soso wer is deutsch

  • What's with all the hating on this version?!

    I think it's epic!

  • Jenova isn't even Sephiroth's mother, technically Lucrecia was, Sephiroth just had Jenova cells inside of him. Honestly Sephiroth wasn't the real villain of FF7 nor was Jenova, the TRUE villain was Hojo, luckily he finally got what was coming to him in FF:DoC. Hojo might have actually been more psycho than Kefka, though that's pretty debatable, however they are both completely insane.

  • You know, if videogame compoosers such as Uematsu and Kondo see how many arragements of their own music is here... Well, maybe someday. Oh, and by the way, SEPHIROTH GETS MOVES FROM KEFKA, SO THERE.

  • What a great piece, I like it a lot. Thanks for uploading this!

  • i hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate HATE this version!

  • Because he's already immortal

  • All this stupid seph, kefka debate is pointless... They are both great villains that will stand the test of time in final fantasy history and game history.. However, it should be noted by those trying to say seph is nowhere close to kefka cause seph never did become a god is dumb.. Yes kefka became a god, and got killed as a god. Seph on the other hand never did quite become a god, but he also never died, u know cause of the whole thing where it never really mattered if he became a god or not b

  • I just can't love this version; it's not dastardly enough.

  • Wha? The others? Well who gives a shit? We've got a DEMON WHO CALLED himself Chaos, an emperor with a FABOOLAS fashion sense, an excuse to render BOOBIES on the NES, a SPACE DEMON... FROM SPACE, a FUCKING TREE(and no, he's not weak to fire), a fucking pedophile, a conceited prettyboy, and a rapist...

  • What? Kefka was the first to WANT and THEN become a god? Hunh? He was the ONLY ONE to succeed? Sephiroth TRIED to destroy the world? Oh, but KEFKA ACTUALLY DID? Sephiroth had a reason to destroy the world... That's understandable, except that KEFKA WANTED TO FOR NO REASON AT ALL. Now how about that shit...

  • We need a remake so we can all act like final fantasy XIII never happened.

  • I wish they'd be more faithful to the original...

  • Kefka is a villain, Sephiroth is a momma's boy, end of story.

  • @CyberPirate83

kefka is a clown AND Sephiroth is a mamma's boy. END OF STORY! Matteus for the win!

  • @DarkMind95 Mateus was just an emperor with a god complex. (=p)

  • @TonRobo

Lol! Kefka was just a magical sadist maniac clown.

Matteus atleast was intelligent and he had to die more than once to be defeted.

  • @DarkMind95 But Kefka was intelligent, too, just in a maniacal way (treacherous). (=p)

  • I love the Disney-vibe. It amplifies the "romantic tango" feeling of the song while making it less sinister. Goes straight into my Favorites! C=

  • @TerraPalazzo lol reminds me a bit of Danse Macabre mixed with Mickey Mouse mixed with Nightmare Before Christmas

  • Why in every fucking video of kefka there's a useless kefka vs. sephiroth debate? It's two games, guys and nothing else. Can we stop talking about that? It makes us ff fans looks like dorks.

  • Kefka and Sephiroth are both great. Seph never did get beat, not even in AC. He is immortal and there is no one in the FF7-World that could possibly stop him. Cloud surprised him with his Omnislash but Seph didn't nearly fight with all of his power.

Kefka is a badass clown who fcked the world up, he got beaten but the world is still ruined, that's not really a happy ending. xD And we don't know anything about his potential as a god. He could be immortal too.

  • Not again. D: Kefka and Sephiroth are both great.

  • Sounds like something coming straight from a Walt Disney movie! =D

  • Sephiroth kick Kefka's ass.

  • @hildergarn Kefka accomplished his goal he destroyed the world. What did Sephiroth do? Get beat and didn't accomplish anything.

  • @Gurimmjaw Truest FF comment ever. But Sephiroth did break the hearts not only everyone involved in the effort to stop him with the death of Aerith, but he also broke the hearts of millions of gamers beyond the screen across the real world.

  • @masterodisastr He didn't break my heart lol. Sephiroth is a pretty good FF villain and I like his story a lot and him as a villain. One of my favorite video game villains. The death of Aerith(Aeris) was very sad. Between Kefka and Sephiroth I prefer Kefka because he is more twisted.

  • @Gurimmjaw Kefka's goal was to destroy existence. What did Kefka do? Get beat and didn't accomplish his goal. And the way he destroyed the world was rather disappointing, he moved some statues.... woohoo... Now I have no beef against Kefka, it's just that people like you have to go back and play the game and understand that his goal was NOT to ruin the world. But to ===DESTROY EVERYTHING IN EXITSTENCE===. Similar to Exdeath's goal, though Exdeath accomplished his goal in the end.

  • @Pharphain He still managed to destroy the world. Something Sephiroth could not even do. And I already know that and Kefka's goal wasn't actually that either but it was to torture everyone and destroy Hope. He already did this. Sephiroth's goal was to take back the planet and give it to his mommy.

I don't know why you mentioned Exdeath when it not even about him.

  • @Gurimmjaw "I don't know why you mentioned Exdeath when it not even about him." I said that Kefka's main goal was similar to Exdeath's goal. Exdeath wanted to erase everything from existence, and Kefka wanted to destroy everything from Existence.

  • @Pharphain Yeah but still it had nothing to do with Exdeath.

  • @Gurimmjaw Also, "Sephiroth's goal was to take back the planet and give it to his mommy." His "Mommy" isn't actually his real mother, he was just injected with JENOVA Cells at birth, and he didn't want to give it back to JENOVA. Basically what he wanted to do, was to finish what JENOVA started by destroying the planet then finding a new planet to create a new a future where (what he called) "Ignorant Traitors" would not exist.

  • @Gurimmjaw I'm pretty sure that dieing was not in Kefka's plan. And he did not accomplish his goal to annihilate existence. If he would have, he wouldn't have died. People who say this make Kefka fans look so bad...

  • @Gurimmjaw Ah! wrong Sephiroth became immortal in the Lifestream, spreading his hate, creating a corrupt version of the Life force as well as create three copies to do his bidding in the real life. All though he did die, he sort of accomplished his goal by failing...lol double negative. Kefka on the other hand became a Fracking God of Magic and ruled the world until the bitch Celes woke up. Give the momma's boy some credit though. k?

  • @formosamortem

But unlike our One Winged Boy..... This Japanese Agent of Chaos just "did things..." His plan was to have no plan... "Some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."-Alfred Pennyworth

    I agree to that... (ケフカの笑)

BTW im gonna redeem myself from my last video for my JPN class and this time it's gonna be much more chaotic....

  • @Gurimmjaw to be fair, neither did chaos, the emperor, the cloud of darkness, Zemus, Exdeath, ultimecia, or kuja.

To be even more fair, sephiroth wasnt even the villain, it was HOJO. that dickhead.

  • @hildergarn and after that Kefka kills Sephiroth just looking at him.

  • Again, despite all of the rabid fanboys and no-lifers, since when has Kefka been Jewish? @ 0:47

  • well that's kick ass!

  • ... Since when has Kefka been Jewish? 0:47

  • @No1Significant1 It's russian...

  • This sounds more like something from a Disney movie than Kefka's Theme. This version of the piece kinda misses the point, so to speak. The original had such a menacing feel to it, in addition to the playfulness... The parts of the song they removed had the dark feel, and the replacement just kinda feels like... I don't know, bubblegum.

  • I do like this arrangement, but it loses some of the "oomph" of the original, if you know what I mean. It only really captures the beginning part correctly, and misses out on after the percussion really comes in.

  • I've always been rather disappointed by this version. Actually there's a lot I've been disappointed with from Final Fantasy VI: Grande Finale. I really badly wanted an upgrade in sound quality along with a loyal re-orchestration of the original theme. This version is so different from the original and it wasn't even rearranged by Uematsu. Still... This song does have merit and if I weren't comparing it to the original Kefka Theme, I'd very much like it.

  • @RicoLen2 i concour, when i was looking for a orchestrated theme by a real orchestra and all I end up finding this one wich i liked too. though not like the one we hear in the actual game

  • @DarkSght Uematsu himself said in an interview that he was disappointed with the re-arrangements made for Grande Finale. Which makes me wonder if he'll ever go back and just re-do it himself. :/

  • This is awesome!

  • I had this once on my mp3 player. I think I lost it though sadly. I love this version.

  • Whenever someone says hearing Video Game Musics is stupid, i show him this variation.

    Thx alot.

  • YES! I found it; I had this version years ago!

    Where is this from?

  • @VocoLetum tbh i don't know either. But i'm glad i didn't lost it ^^

  • @VocoLetum It's from the soundtrack "Final Fantasy VI: Grand Finale".

  • @VocoLetum It was from a CD called "Final Fantasy VI: Grande Finale". :)
