  • Who cares, yes the Polacks died for nothing should have just waited till the Russians arrived. What can a pissweak nation really do . Just like we had to give in to the UN and Kissinger I would have liked to defend and have burn Salisbury inch by inch but what would it have achieved? Thats life the stronger always win. Ant the French arent faggots just cultured bufoons.

  • @ExRhodesian

The Russians CAMPED OUTSIDE of Warsaw and did not advance beyond the Vistula. The Home Army believed that the Russians would come while the uprising was going on and that they would make things easier for the Soviets. The Red Army was ordered to cease their advance and wait until the uprising was over. Poland would remain a slave state of the USSR until 1989.

  • @NortonAV2010 yes what else could they do the Russians arent fools let the Germans do their dirty work. I suppose at least the Poles had the satisfaction of taking action now I speak for myself I wish we had of carried out a scorched earth policy instead of giving into outside pressure. Now no one cares. At least there is a Poland now, free? whats free we all live in Police States of one sort or another the trick is to be a part of the oppressive regime.

  • @ExRhodesian

If all people thought like you -- believe me, a lot of people do -- Europe would still be ruled by absolute monarchs and feudal lords as would the middle east and the orient.

  • @NortonAV2010 we are still ruled by absolute monarchs dont kid yourself nothing really changes we are still serfs. Only the names change instead of kings presidents with bankers pulling the strings.

  • @ExRhodesian

That's some cute rhetoric but I'll say my life is a lot better than a peasant in the 1200s

  • @NortonAV2010 oh my god you dont see it of course its better there is advances in medicine, building, its called progress. But we still follow orders, we still fight wars for our leaders. We are wage slaves. I was part of the ruling elite in that I did their dirty work moving blacks off land we wanted, burning, destroying all on orders. I did it when your 20 its fun and you believe anything all I was doing was prolonging the rule of a wealthy few. My reward a boot up the arse.

  • @ExRhodesian

Yes, but I'm not gonna take the totalitarian dick unlike you, I'll fight for what's right.

  • @0willsy01

Maybe so, but I doubt Stalin cared about their own human casualties - the massive losses during the war was also because the lack of interest of the soviet goverment. Even before the war, millions and millions died under his regime. Fact is that during WW II around 27 million soviet citizens died, but considering the 200 million this wasn't a terrible number... at least not for the war machine.

  • So people who won in uprising?I mean have Germans stayed in Warsaw or the people defended it?

  • @MikovicNenad

The germans brutally crushed this rebellion, around two hundred thousand residents were killed. In the mean time, the soviet armies halted their attack (just from a few dozen miles away from the city), because they didn't want the polish to achieve freedom on their own, they wanted to install their own, soviet oriented, puppet goverment.

Stalin didn't even permit the allies to use soviet airports, in order to bring supplies to the resistance with their air force.

  • What if, could if, you can’t rewrite history, only winners can do that. The FACT IS the POLOCKS owe the YUGOS for their country, if the YUGOS didn’t put up such a great fight against the WHOPS, to then have the KRAUTS come in to conquer, Operation Barbarossa would have taken place much earlier, and the COMMIE winter would not have stopped the GERRY’s advance before Moscow, POLOCKS and LIMIES should be thankful to Edward R. Murrow

  • @dirtywt and the USERS (US citizens) are just ignorants...

  • Nearly 70 years ago, in a small eastern European city, an oppressed and occupied people were under siege, living under atrocious and brutal conditions, lacking food, medicine, electricity, water, and slowly being strangled in the hope they would just disappear.

Warsaw Ghetto 1941 - Gaza 2008. Israel, you are a disgrace.

  • They had the right idea.

We are going to die anyway we might as well go down fighting, AND TAKE DOWN SOME THOSE NAZI CUNTS DOWN WITH US!

  • @RichardSwayne

    Sorry, but you messed uprisings.

Warzaw 1944 was about western orientated poland after WW2.

Stalin let the Germans kill the western orientated people and took the rest into 50 years of communism.

  • @RichardSwayne i think that it was was in the jewish uprising in warsaw ghetto, one year prior to the home army uprising from this movie. jews were going to be exterminated anyway so they just choose to die with dignity. poles had the idea of freeing their own country before the soviets come. they thought that if they freed their capital themselves they would be allowed to govern poland themselves.

  • Hey LietuvaLietuviams1 did Lithuania have an uprising? Oh no they didn't, so shut the fuck up and have some respect for people who were more brave then you could ever hope to be. And FYI the Armia Krajowa had operations in Lithuania to try and liberate your people from Nazis aswell so no thanks for your discgracful comment.

  • Poland defeated the Turks in the 1500s and kept them from invading the rest of Europe.

Poland defeated the Soviets in the Polish-Soviet war and kept Lenin from overrunning post world war 1 Europe.

And ever single time Poland gets conquered they come back, even if its a hundred years later.

Polish people are fucking tough. The Uprising is an example of a true underground, not that faggot French bullshit.

  • french "Sitzkrieg" was not efective style of fighting

  • Are you serious? Your comment is the epitimy of one-sided ignorance.

Why are you insulting the French Resistance, who didn't like the Nazis any more than the Polish Home Army or Underground?

Please, answer me that, when both countries had the most effective resistances in Europe.

  • @LongDongSilver666 You started gallantly and then you were not nice to our fiends French. The Free French units fought gallantly at Gustav Line. Their motivation was honor of their country. And in Paris and in Czech Prague there were uprisings too. Poland was not lucky when Stalin betrayed them, betrayed Poland as an ally.

  • @LongDongSilver666 "It`s better to die on the foots than die on the knees"

  • @LongDongSilver666 finland is as tough, check out winter war

  • picture quality isnt great but video footage of the uprising is amazing. The Polish people have guts man. They have my respect.

  • Witold Pilecki - the only known person to volunteer to be imprisoned at Auschwitz concentration camp. While there, he organized the resistance movement in the camp, and as early as 1940, informed the Western Allies of Nazi Germany's Auschwitz atrocities. He escaped from the camp in 1943 and took part in the Warsaw Uprising. Pilecki was executed in 1948 by the communists. Until 1989, information on his exploits and fate was suppressed by the Polish communist regime

  • better to be gay pole than a fuckin lame ass litvenian biotch !!!

  • and we didnt colaborate with germans like u fuckin nazi lovin scum i shit on u and rest of ur fuckin family !

  • This video is an excellent documentary. It was one of the most horrible of battles. We must remember and honor the Poles who fought so courageously and died while trying to defend their freedom. Editor, website Polish Greatness
