  • Hey wait a minute I drive a Hyundai!:{( (mad mustache face bitch)

  • Good video, glad you didn't review the gun like all the other gun review videos and sound like a douche, you just reviewed the damn thing.

  • After 1.5 years of ownership, I would not recommend this gun. I like the ugly park finish and I don't mind the burrs, but the metal expansion is a killer. In a defense situation, this should do the job as long as you keep it well oiled and are vigilant with maintenance.

However, I think the best *bang* for your buck would be a Rossi 357mag snub for $299.

  • @dadoody

    Appreciate the feedback man.

    Check out my video

    Armscor M206 Vs Bulgarian Makarov

I've put more then 1000 rounds through this gun and it's been a good gun. Not even close in quality to a Ruger or Smith but it doesn't have the price tag either.

  • @dadoody Ruger Sp101.

  • @dadoody I own the Rossi .357 and it's as good as a S&W. Rossi is now made by Taurus, and is a good primary weapon.

  • to all those who call cheaper gun models shit, i dont think you would fucking know the difference if you were shot with a 200 dollar gun or 2000 dollar gun

  • @1979rdg

They all feel the same =P

  • shoot the damn thing double action like it is intended. Every damn wheelgun vid you see the dude is thumb cocking the damn thing. I am gonna shit the next snub gun review i see where the reviewer shoots the thing single action.

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES

    Look up my video

"I buy my own ammo. No paypal links, No ammo donation solicitations. Just shooting."

Skip to 3:11 I shoot double action there. No need to poop your pants.

  • @FireArmsResQ I think I may have already pooped my pants. No worries though. I have more pants.I think.

  • @FireArmsResQ seems like a pretty cool colt clone though. The Rock Island 1911s are shit hot, so this should be another Armscor hit.

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES

I see nothing but positive videos for RIA 1911s.

This Armscor Snubbys pretty good. I've put 1200 rounds through it so far. It's nothing like a Ruger or S&W but for $200 I wasn't expecting it to be.

Just another gun to add to the collection.

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES a real life vid of somebody who used a snubbie in life or death shootout would be instructive. When the adrenaline is pumping I'm sure the extra trigger pull would not be a consideration.I practice at the range single action 90% of the time.

  • Horrible gun! paid 249 only shot about 50 rounds through it. Finish looks like shit

Save your money and purchase a taurus!!!!

  • @ashleycoggins0819

What didn't you like about it besides the finish? I've put about 1000 rounds through mine and it's worked flawlessly.

I have a Ruger 357 and a Smith and Wesson 500. They definately have way better quality but obviously way more expensive guns

  • @ashleycoggins0819 Taurus is just as crappy. Get a Ruger or S&W.

  • I bought on and love it..

  • @Bezecarrot

Great gun for the money. 1200 rounds through mine and still working great.

  • Isn't the idea to hit the target ?

  • @baldbollocks

I was hitting the target. 38 is a weak ass round. Doesn't blow up water bottles like the cooler rounds.

  • I always loved affordable firearms. Something about having a gun one fourth the price of a Sig-Sauer or a S&W, yet still being able to do almost exactly the same thing with it. Pisses off the gun-snobs big time. On a side note, mechanically speaking, the Armscor 206 only looks like a Colt. It is internally a completely different firearm, and you couldn't use any of the parts from a Colt in that gun, aside from the grips, if you count those as parts. Armscor doesn't have permission to copy Colts.

  • @MantridBrizon

The P95 and Bersa 380 are 2 guns i would love to eventually pick up. $200-$300 is a great price range for a gun and you can get something really good.

  • @FireArmsResQ Why not a S&W Sigma SW40VE or SW9VE? Have an SW40VE, which only cost me less than $300 and hasn't had a single issue after having roughly 600 rounds put through it. They're excellent semi-autos for the price.

  • @EquipaPatriot

I also have a Bulgarian Makarov.

    Look up my video

Armscor M206 Vs Bulgarian Makarov Battle of the cheap guns

You might like that one. 2 guns under $300.

I might end up with a Sigma eventually. Still dont have a .40 in my collection.

  • @EquipaPatriot pieces of shit.

  • buying guns based on movies and video games?? lol who doesnt??

  • @anttrap321

More people need to admit it! People have been doing it since the Dirty Harry days =)

  • In the end, I left this gun for my dad for home protection. Its biggest problem is metal expansion, but the 1st 30 shots will be reliable. For everyday CCW, I got a Glock30. The m206 will be an emergency gun. Not so great for CCW or long periods of shooting.

  • @dadoody

Thanks for the input man. I just throw this thing in my car for emergencys like you said. We had a black out here a few days ago and it was nice to have something with me just in case people went crazy you know?

  • I've fired +p through mine and found it's more accurate, so they're safe to fire, but don't put too many through it. Like the Colt Detective it should be able to safely fire +p but overuse will eventually warp the frame. Keep it to less than 1000 rounds of +p during the gun's lifetime. They do seem to be much more accurate than standard .38spl, so if you want to make it your CCW maybe keep some handy for defense.

  • the M206 is not a hot seller in the Philippines but it is a good gun. i am Filipino and i own a couple of armscors (M1911A1, M200 Revolver). Nice review.

  • @kerwinsalvador

What's popular in the PI? Revolvers are not too popular here in America but it's my favorite style of gun and I picked this up on curiosity and it's been a great gun! 800 rounds through it and it still works great.

  • @FireArmsResQ I am a revolver guy myself and i used to have an old Colt Official Police. I live in the southern part of the Philippines so i would not know what the shooters in Metro Manila would prefer. Most Filipino shooters that i do know would buy a M1911A1 type pistol (We have Armscor, Metro and SAM that makes good M1911's here) as their first gun. As they get hooked on gunpowder, anything goes.

  • When I'm 18 and go to college in LA I plan on buying a compact pistol or snub nosefor my car and apartment,

Since I only plan on buying one inexpensive revolver or sub/compact handgun, do you think this would be the ideal option?

I don't plan to take it to the range very often nor maintain it, aside from taking the proficiency class and keeping it in a drawer.

  • @CampingestBoyAlive

In California you need to be 21 to get a handgun and to carry it you need a permit.

I love this gun but for cheap I'd go with a Bulgarian Makarov.

  • @FireArmsResQ

my dad's going to buy me a gun to keep in my apartment. nothing legally wrong with that right?

  • @CampingestBoyAlive - Legally, that's OK; however, if I were you I would ask your dad to let it be completely in your name. The problem is that if you have to shoot for defense, the legal and financial repercussions would then fall both on you as the shooter, and your dad as the buyer if his name is on the paperwork. It's better to keep it completely in your name.

  • @dadoody

1 more thing to add, at 18 you can't have a handgun legally in California. I would ask for a shotgun so that the gun can be in your name. 18 to own a long gun in California.

Hopefully we never have to defend ourselves with guns because the nightmare that follows afterwards.

  • @FireArmsResQ I agree with FireArmsResQ, if CampingestBoyAlive, if you're under 21 and this is your 1st gun, have your dad spend the money on a shotgun instead. A cheap one like a Mossberg Maverick. It will cost as much as this revolver, but be MUCH MUCH more useful for home defense with 00 buckshot load. If by "LA" you mean Los Angeles, then a carry gun does you no good - they will NOT give you a license to carry. Not in Los Angeles. Get a shotgun.

  • I happen to carry this gun on me every day plus HKS speed loaders. honestly because my Para 16.40 18+1 competition gun is too damn big to conceal.

600 rounds so far, no problems.

pros: reliable, cheap, good recoil management, can eat +p but don't use it for practice, 6 rounds on a wheelie is always nice, small enough for concealed carry. solid construction, accurate enough for close range

cons: crummy ass finish fades too quickly. fixed sights aint fancy

  • @tzh1911

Hey man appreciate the insight. I have about 800 rounds through mine it's been a great gun for what it is.

I didn't know it can shoot +P. Hornady makes non +p Critical defense ammo for it.

  • @FireArmsResQ

Hi dude, glad to help! The moderator at the Armscor forum says it can shoot +p, but he suggests that it should not be fed the hot stuff on a regular basis. Fine w/ me. The occasional Hornady Critical Defense can be shot once in a while to get familiar and then we do most of our practice with regular stuff. To be honest, the kick of Hornady's stuff is pretty similar or nearly identical to my regular Winchester ball.

What +p kicks unusually hard? Magtech for some reason. cheers!

  • Mine is no beauty contest winner, but it is reliable! And in the end, that's what matters most.

  • @sturmgewehr70

    $250 or less I say it's a great buy!

  • @sturmgewehr70

Take mine out everytime I go out. It's been a cool little gun.

  • This gun is crap. My friend had his for 3 years. One time, he fired 33 rounds or so. After pulling the trigger for the 34th shot, the cylinder of his revolver won't turn. It got stock! Armscor ordinance steel expanded. Low Quality. After an hour when his gun cooled off, it functioned again. Then he sold it off.

Cheap life? Get a cheap gun. Cheap gun means cheap quality. And being cheap can get you killed. What if it jams? Get a S&W, COLT, or Taurus.

  • @filipinashooter taurus..lol. YEAH cause they make good guns. {my taurus 357 sig blew up in my hands, so dont even try it}

  • @Duckyistrippin Sir Duckyistrippin. I'm talking about .38's. We're not fond of macho 357's here. Over penetrates + you loose precise follow through shot. We use HP corbon+p in extreme cases.

You had a Lemon Taurus with high tech manufacturing and Q.C. facilities in AMERICA, that produces forge steel pistols, Polymer pistols, Repeater rifles and still you ended up with a lemon, what facility do you think we have in the Philippines?

357's are of different level and does Armscor produces 357s?

  • @filipinashooter 357 sig is not 357 magnum. It was not A lemon taurus. Lots of people had these guns blow up. Taurus builds crap, and they know it. {its why there warranty is so good, only reason would take the chance with there junk} Armscor makes fine pistols, theyve been doing it for 40+ years and changed hands a few times. Perhaps YOU got the lemon, much less these guns are designed for +p loads. Learn more, run your mouth less. Go eat some rice, or dog. You fucking savage.

  • @Duckyistrippin

Hey man I'm filipino too and I don't eat dog. I'm a volunteer with the animal shelter and I help animals and I don't kill them.

I allow freedom of speech and discussion on my channel but no need for racism man.

Part of life is when people have a bad experience with a product (Gun,Car,Food,Shampoo etc) they tend to hate the product no matter how good the product has been for other people.

My Armscor has treated me great. Filipinashooter just doesn't like them and that's ok.

  • @FireArmsResQ im 100% american, and id eat a dog if you cooked it right. Dont take it to heart man.

  • @FireArmsResQ: No way! You are Filipino? I am Mexican, but my wife is Filipino, just thought it was interesting. I like your videos, especially the Beretta you showed with the Resident Evil grips, amazing. Yes, but I was thinking of getting one of these Armscor 38s, I used to own an Armscor shotgun and 1911, they were great, although the shotgun, I liked the Mossberg better. I used to own a snubnose Charter Arms, but it wouldnt take speedloaders. Anyways, keep up the good work with the vids!

  • @tonydelacruz45

Mexican and Filipino? You guys probably have great looking kids =)

Appreciate the kind words man. I didn't expect much out of this gun because it was so cheap. If it sucked it's ok another gun to add to the collection but it ended up being a very good gun and well worth the $200.

  • @Duckyistrippin

Manners boy. It reflect on your upbringing. Did'nt you learn anything from your grandma?

Did you ever been to college? I guess not. Too proud and clearly, too ignorant.

The way you blabber your mouth tell us your uneducated-egoist-macho-racist with a "limp" pecker. I think you compensate for what you lack with your 357. Here in the field, we don't talk to much and we do it close.

What a fag. Oh, Just wish your here so i could feed you your pecker thru your neck.

  • @filipinashooter ignorance and education go hand in hand. Ever met a politician? Wow, aside from being a third world puppy eater, you are also a biggot and quite obviously a raging homophobe. If you can get your papers feel free to come state side and take your ass beating like the boy you are. Dont talk about it, be about it. Thanks, drive thru please.

  • @Duckyistrippin Yeah right. Whatever make you happy kid. I have Latin, black, Fil friends in the service who are stateside. I don't need to give you a visit. Be careful with your mouth, your racist. One day, you'll get the beating you deserve. With your face and all in the internet. How stupid.

YOU ARE STILL A FAGOT. Admit it and be done with it. Oh, this could go for ages, you started it , so if you want me to stop pissing you off like you are now, you drive thru. Comprendes maricon?

  • Comment removed

  • @filipinashooter: Not to be annoying, but a 357 Magnum is really not that big, I dont see how only people who are machismo would own one, most of the ammo does penetrate deeply, but some of the ammo (hollow points) might actually just expand/explode when it hits an attacker, although a 357 in FMJ will definitely over-penetrate. There have been many arguments about this, concerning stopping power, and I have read a few cases where the 45 ACP took over 6 rounds to stop an attacker.

  • @tonydelacruz45: I also thought it was funny, a lot of Filipinos in the Philippines when I asked them about Eskrima would tell me they dont like it and would say Tang Soo Do is better, and I just kind of rolled my eyes. Anyways, for a revolver, Id personally carry a Ruger SP101, some people swear by Taurus, I am a little skeptical, but thats me. Armscor is cheap, but yeah, I know what you mean, Id rather carry a Ruger SP101, handles 357 and 38, and now they have 327 mag as well.

  • @tonydelacruz45

S&W 500 is a true "Macho Gun" No one will survive a S&W 500 shot, that thing will blow you to pieces if you get hit with one of those! Did you see my 92FS Vs 357 Vs 500 video?

9mm bouced off a 4 inch thick concrete block, 357 cracked it and took a small chunk out, 500 ripped right through it, 1 shot.

  • This gun is crap. My friend had his for 3 years. One time, he fired 33 rounds or so. After pulling the trigger for the 34th shot, the cylinder of his revolver won't turn. It got stock! namaga! Armscor ordinance steel expanded. Low Quality. After an hour when his gun cooled off, it functioned again.

Cheap life? Get a cheap gun. Cheap guns means cheap quality and this can get you killed. It's an investment, your life depends on it. Go for S&W or Colt.

  • @filipinashooter

I've put about 700 rounds through mine and it's been great.

    I have a S&W500 does that count =)

  • Are you implying the Smith & Wesson, Sig, Colt, Taurus, Rossi, Ruger never have Quality control issues?

If you are, youre an idiot,

Even out of the box, all manufacturers can and do have issues. They make tools with moving parts, that sometimes break, but rare in Armscors case.

Armscor is not a range gun, but a fine shooter, used by police all over the world, but mostly in asian rim nations.

Now go get your shine box.

  • @StSimonMartyr

Oh, Jesus, Mary and Joseph.. Not another self righteous, macho, I-know-it-all fat armchair warrior. Not worth it. Anyway, If one is an IDIOT, one would surmised that one implied. If you surmised that I implied when I did not, then you're the IDIOT? Get it? Now get your shoe box and be quick about it.

Even Commie Hong kong used S&W Model 10. Even they knew better. Come on kid, stop bullshiting. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.

  • Smith is a fine weapon and kudos to Hong Kong for choosing one.

Armscor is also a fine, though less expensive firearm and IN use by many police agencies around the world, including the Phillipine State Police. Also a choice of many competition shooters.

    It is a fine gun.

Even Smith has QC and warranty issues, there friend.

Youre the know it all armchair warrior libeling an otherwise fine product, with a well established product and reputation. You should be ashamed, but lack any shame.

  • @filipinashooter: Anyways, a lot of different calibers are adequate in stopping, I personally have a 40S&W, and a 38 Special, but I wouldnt have a problem using a 45, 44, 357, 9mm, etc. all are very good, each has strengths and weaknesses. I had owned a Rock Island 1911, loved it, worked better than my Springfield 1911. I have noticed many Filipinos in the Philippines tend to not like anything from the Philippines. Almost everyone I met there owned a Colt, Beretta, never an Armscor.

  • @filipinashooter I Have fired my fathers M206, my wife and I put over 300 rounds in one afternoon. no issues

  • this is the perfect gun for a glove compartment!

  • @Peidmonte89

I'm thinking of applying for a CCW and I would carry this or my Makarov.

  • @FireArmsResQ you can always switch em up! As long as you dont need to tuck in your shirts for work I'd opt for the snubby with an inside the waste band holster!

  • @Peidmonte89 EXACTLY what i want one for! I love my RIA 1911 so much i just cant see how i could go wrong with one of these, especially for 189 bucks.

  • Hyundai actually makes good cars these days...ha, ha...thanks for the review! Have a Charter Arms .38, pretty rough in firing

  • @TacticalHobo27

But you still can't compare a Hyundai to a Ferrari =P

And like a Hyundai this gun is cheap but still good =)

  • @FireArmsResQ lol..i drive a 2011 hyundai and own a RIA 1911. go figure.

  • Awesome vid.

  • @SnkyCyanTurtle

    Thanks man =)

  • @fashochoppas

I like at myself as a "hobbyist" gun owner. Dont buy guns with the intention that each needs to serve a purpose. Just buy them based on if they're cool or not and snub noses are just cool!

If you end up picking one up let me know man. These are really sweet under the radar guns.

  • @FireArmsResQ

gotta love the distinct "pop" sound of the .38 vs the .44

  • @tubevideoguy762

    Hell yeah man, I'm a fan 38s =)

  • @tubevideoguy762

It's a fun round for sure!

  • worth the money?

  • @mark16443

If you like the looks of a snub nose and you're a revolver fan I would get one for sure. The only draw back is I'm not sure if it can shoot +P rounds. It's not on the side of the gun that it can shoot +P but the manuel doesn't advise against shooting +P. If you can get a hold of armscor I would ask them if it can shoot +P

I never shoot +P through it cause this isn't my primary selfdefense gun. Just bought it for fun. 700 rounds so far and it's been perfect.

  • @FireArmsResQ

i'v shot a box of +p's through mine. it functioned fine. but def as you said, its good to check with the manufacturer. for all i know over time, it would do some negative shit to it. either way, a great gun. it was my first revolver. for a $199 price tag, i got myself a sweet shooter. although i prefer my smith or my colt, it's a great gun. been workin well for me as a workhorse gun for years. still keep the thing ready to go in my truck. i trust it. be safe boys

  • @Right0wing0rebel

Thanks for the input man. Practice with normal 38's and put +p's in it if it's your only gun. Sounds good to me!

  • another nice review from you! I'm planning to get one for my gf...

  • @ambidextrous21

Thanks for the kind words man. What has your GF shot so far?

  • @FireArmsResQ she doesn't like it, she decided to get the HS9 subc...

  • @ambidextrous21

XD?That's quite a price spike from the Armscor =P

  • @FireArmsResQ yup XD...yeah the price, it hurts my pocket..fortunately I found a used one for her.

  • Had an Armscor M206 since summer. Stock grips suck, replaced with Pachmyr grips. Gun handles and looks much nicer.

It has fired reliably the whole time. Only issue is that the cylinder binds when heated. Happens after only a few shots. The metal expands pretty noticeably.

  • @dadoody

How many rounds in a row does it take to get it to bind?

  • @FireArmsResQ - About 40

  • Think I will make a vid with some +P ammo, keep an eye out.

  • @SirGlockALott

    I'll be watching man!

  • It's a great snubby. First time I shot an Armscor was when I was in PH, liked it and decided to get one. Going to try a grip switch, have Pachmayr incoming.

  • @beringse

I'm thinking of doing the same. I dont have any problems with the smallish grips but I think with even better grips it'll be even more fun to shoot.

  • Nice review, just finished cleaning mine

  • @beringse

Thanks for the kind words man, how's your gun holding up?

  • is it rated for+P? sorry if i missed it in the video. also thanks for the videos, been looking for a snubnosed revolver and was just wondering.

    Thanks, Ward

  • @thesoundofthebeast

    Not rated for +P

Hornady does have non +P critical defense ammo out now. Great move I think since a lot of the Cheaper 38 revolvers from TAurus and Charter Arms are not rated for +P.

  • @FireArmsResQ Talked to someone at Armscor and he told me you can shoot +P ammo in it, but puts wear on it faster (of course).

  • @SirGlockALott

Good to know. It isn't my go to gun but hey there's more +P loads then non +P 38 defensive rounds.

  • a man gun. it does the job no drama queens.

  • @yocam420

Yeah, revolvers kickass. No nonsense. Pull the trigger and it goes bang!

  • Look for revolver technique videos by Massad Ayoob. He'll teach you how to make that "mild demeanored" .38 of yours into a perfectly viable defensive gun.

  • @morisato54

I love reading that guys self defense articles in Combat Handgun. Thats a guy who should be on Youtube!

  • Nice review.

  • @thenorthwoodsman

Thanks for the kind words bud!

  • I've been waiting for this! Awesome review man! Thanks for sharing your insights on the gun!

  • @TheAgeOfExploration

Glad you enjoyed it sir =)

  • I got the same gun , and this gun is no more than satuday night special, is just better the nothing .

  • @sietepeo1

How many rounds have you put through yours so far? How's it treating you? 700 through mine and so far so good.

  • @FireArmsResQ well around 200 actually it did OK until I open it , because I got a S&W 66 357 mag and r I clean it up it inside and outside regulary without problems, but it is not the case with the armscor, I recon I screw my self my gun because inside this gun there are parts thick as a hair, and my problems began: cilinder, hammer, double action, etc.. . But that was my fault after that my gun made many trips to the gunsmith . probably that gun is not so bad .

  • @sietepeo1 as I said the gun is no bad but my finally recomendation according my own experience is never try to open that gun at least you are a qualified armscor gunsmith

  • @sietepeo1

Appreciate the heads up man. I hope this gun lasts a long time as long as I dont do that.

  • @FireArmsResQ i experienced something similar to sietepeo's gun. i own a 3 in barreled 200 and it has gone to the gunsmith twice, the first one a broken spring, very small, like hair, and the cylinder wont turn when i pull the trigger when the gun is pointed upwards or even horizontal. however it can be used single action, by cocking while pointed down. the second repair, with another gunsmith, it seemed stronger. the gunsmith the solder by the first one was just not done right

  • @gagongromy

Sorry to hear that man. I put 600 rounds through my 206 so far and so far so good. It's not my go to gun and I actually love shooting the thing. So I'll keep putting rounds through it. Hopefully it holds up well.

  • @FireArmsResQ however the tiny spring still concerns me. i intend to buy another revolver of better brand and keep it for backup. however i have a friend who put more than a thousand rounds through his and the gun was still in good shape when he sold it, still used by the new owner.

  • @sietepeo1

Thanks for the heads up man. I never open my revolvers when I clean them. I just spray that birchwoodcasey cleaner inside of them.

  • @FireArmsResQ by the way i have put no more than 50 rounds in mine. and maybe a couple hundred times of dry fire (with empty cases)

  • i dont know if a little play in the cylinder is bad...i have a used smith 7 wesson model 586 and the cylinder has a little slack when holdong back the hammer and triger as well..as does my brand new taurus model 85..guess its just the way each brand is built...but i would get that armscor in a heartbeat..nice gun.

  • @GunNut12680

I wish this company made more guns man. I'm really impressed with this thing. The tiny bit of slack doesn't affect cylinder timing at all so doesn't bother me. 700 rounds through it so far it's a sweet gun to have in any collection. I like how it's a copy of a classic gun.

  • @Ziva4Freedom

    Haha =P

  • Isn't that gun made in the Philippines?

  • @OneCreativeOrigin

Yup! Made in the PI =)

  • You need to copyright the bleeding target. Thanks for the review.

  • @OilTheGun

If you start seeing people with bleeding targets remember where you saw it first =)

    Thanks for watching buddy.

  • Hey bud, nice gun and giving to us real. I like that about you. Nice job

  • @MrGlockManDan

Thanks for the kind words buddy.

  • um okay i have a question , whats the diffrents about the ammo you are useing? :/

  • @FailAndFun

Target rounds usually have a round of flat bullet.

Hollowpoints are made for selfdefense. They expand with you hit someone with them causing more damage.

+P 38 special rounds are 38 specials with more power. I believe they were invented because the 38 special was invented in 1899 and the +P was a way to make them more powerful with higher velocity

More modern 38s are +P rated but the older ones or the more inexpensive ones like this one are rated for just 38 special rounds

  • cool little gun! looks like a chodeload of fun to shoot!

fukn new jersey, send that us damn id card!

  • @jwg101x

It makes me want to buy a Tommy gun and makes me wanna dress nice line in the 20s!

  • Good review!

For the money...good gun to hide in the truck!

    *Knuckle Bump*

  • @ebomey

Thanks for the kind words buddy

    *Knuckle Bump*

  • it was cool when it jumped up. lol I want this on my ankle.

  • @mikeysmallz1

Yeah it shows at least I hit something =P

  • But when you do your lockup test you wanna let the hammer down while holding the trigger back at least that's what I do, I don't think it matters really. Another test you can do on a used gun if cock the hammer back and grab it without touching the trigger and kinda firmly try moving the hammer around and if it's had a trigger job done on it that would make the gun maybe fire if you drop it you can cause the hammer to fall without pulling the trigger by doing that.

  • You pretty much have the lockup test down you wanna do it to all cylinders your lockup will be slightly different on each chamber. My judge only locks up like that ruger on 2 cylinders and the other 3 move just alittle. That little bit of movement is ok but I guess any forward to back movement is very bad. From what I see looks like a hell of a little revolver though. I think your security six is younger then 80s though I'd bet it was made when they started making the GP100 that replaced them.

  • @mrwhite4

I think mine was manufactured in 1987. Not sure when did the GP100 come out?

  • @FireArmsResQ Ya know your prolly right I looked it up I'm shocked the GP100 came out in 87 and they made the security six till 88 so were both prolly right actually. for being over 20 years old that gun is in sweet shape I mean it looks new. That's why I loves me hunk of metal revolvers they are just durable hunks of sexy stainless steel, nutnfancy and his duracoat club be damned :P

  • @mrwhite4

I'm a decently strong dude I can handle more then 20 ounces so I love my 357. I'm serious when I say I like my Makarov as much if not more so then my G17 seriously! Really! Dont laugh I'm not kidding! But I like my 357 way more then those 2 guns. Hell I want a damn S&W500 and I'm sure it wont hold me down in the desert, I can handle the ouces =P

  • @FireArmsResQ I heard that, I like revolvers in general though. Taurus has this new double action comming out with a quick change cylinder. You just open up the crane and push a button on the frame and the crane and everything comes right out. it's a 22lr/22magnum revolver and they should run less then 400 bucks I bet. I want one :P

  • @mrwhite4

.22 Revolver and S&W500. Those are the 2 revolvers I want and of course if I leave California a Taurus Judge.

Dont care about the brand of .22 revolver. I keep seeing Puma .22 revolvers for $200. I think it's made in Italy.

  • dude....you should get a RIA 1911 ...made by the same guys and i read that they are made off of COLT machines !! When Colt closed the plant they left the machines and armscor took over and so basically they are the same....almost hahha you know what i mean ??

bleeding targets ...still coolest thing i've seen haha ...what did you use for blood ?

  • @pray4chicken

    I would but I need an American 1911 =P

But looks like everyone loves their RIA 1911's.

  • wtf...$200 gun came with a case...my $600 taurus came with no case and a cardboard box LMAO...damn

  • @pray4chicken

It's ok man, you can buy a hard case for it for like $10 =P

  • Thank you and you did a good job with this. I'm also interested in the Armscor M206.

How is the trigger pull? Thanks again.

  • @Tank50111

Thanks for the kind words man.

I'm no expert but I think the trigger pull is great. Barely any creep in double action mode and single action it's light as hell.

  • man you couldnt had timed it any better!!!! I was just looking at those 2 days ago for a bedside gun!!! How is the trigger pull and how are the sights working out for ya!!! From watching it seems like it wouldnt be a very bad buy at all!!!

  • @joshlone1982

I'm no expertmarksman, in fact I say I'm a horrible shot but the fact I hit stuff with this at 20 feet back says a lot. I'm sure someone with more skill can do way better then me.

Double action has a tiny bit amount of creep, single action is light as hell. I think thats why I actually hit the bottles with this.

I'm happy with the gun and anything under $250 is worth it. I put 700 rounds through it already. It's a fun gun to shoot.

  • great review now i want one stupid gun laws :p *TACTICAL KNUCKLE BUMP*

    Why do you like them?

  • @FireArmsResQ simple to use alot of power and they look nice :)

  • @FireArmsResQ also they don't jam unlike semi's :)

  • @dbzwrestleingfan

More reliable then even a GLOCK! IMPOSSIBLE!!L!!11111!!1

  • @FireArmsResQ idk ive never seen a revolver jam lol

  • At what distance do you prefer when practicing?

  • @KASPLARFO

    10-20 feet.

I practice for home defense distances.

  • @FireArmsResQ

    Awesome my friend.

  • Snub noses, Saturday night specials, belly guns etc. whatever you want to call them, they are still popular. Armscor is putting out some quality guns. A lot of folks are talking about the Rock Island Armory 1911, but some folks don't realize that it's made by Armscor. Those RIAs are getting more expensive quickly. Cool gun bro, thanks for sharing!!
