Sounds like he shot himself in the foot being a little, difficult, shall we say.
This band should have been huge - both albums are absolutely stellar.

10 years ahead of their time? What planet were you living on? This was 1992, a full year after Slough, the whole scene was over. Sure the song is good, but it was totally derivative even then. Listen to the Bunnymen, Pale Saints, House of Love, Ride, any number of bands that pre-dated Adorable. The band members were all cool, lovely people, except Pete the singer, a horrible character - an arrogant, self-important dickhead with a serious chip on his shoulder.

Just a great great song! This band was at least 10 years ahead of their time. Glad I got to see them live when they came over back in the day.

Not as good as Homeboy by a long shot, but still very compelling and fun to listen to, with some cool drone.
