  • I knew this band before san andreas came out, and i´m 15

    WORSHIP ME!

  • GTA SAN ANDREAS!!!!UHULLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • the best thing about GTA is the awesome music it has introduced us to that we would have probably never heard of otherwise.

  • @harrygstewart i already listen to this kind of music, but fallout 3 was the best for music

  • that's the best song ever!!!!!!

  • This is probably one of their lesser known tunes, but one of my favorites.

  • good

  • if it weren't for san andreas i would know these guys. Video games are a great way for kids nowadays to discover the classics i think.

  • @aadeebindy so true

  • The Dust :)

  • @Bratwurst86 dude, i love your user name! Fucking bratwurst is the shit!

  • classic rock, steve marriott the forgotten rock and roll singer, listen to the vocals in this track and tell me that he aint one of the best vocalists ever

  • This is out & out Funk!!!

  • Hey guys, you can find the LYRICS @ EasyLyrics . org/?artist=Humble+Pie&title=Get+Down+To+It

  • -----,' K-DST ',-----

  • I love this kind fo music. Rock, Hard Rock, Soul, Rock 'n' Roll and Funk.

  • badddd stufffff

  • A*W*E*S*O*M*E !

  • what genre is this song? whenever i hear a song like this, i picture driving down a highway somewhere in the south US or the midwest. btw, GTA San Andreas FTW!!!

  • It's some kind of Rock 'n' Roll with Soul. I'm think, I can't explain it. But I LOVE it so MUCH!

  • @DrSurprise Good times, eh?

  • @SFisher1993

lol, i wouldn't know, i've never been to the south or central US.

  • Probably my favorite Humble Pie song. Its a hard choice though.

  • ahhh one of the songs that got me into hard rock! It's funny that San Andreas is one of the reasons why I love classic rock so much!

  • Same here.

  • @getthepoooffmybum

for me it's the other way round!

  • Flying over the city of San Andreas with Hellicopters on my ass and an F-15 shooting rockets. I ditch the plane on the tallest tower, take that rocket and shoot the helli's down, jump from the top and parachute to the street. "Suspect last Seen On Foot"....damn right.

    hesoyam/rocketman/everyoneisrich/fullclip

use and have fun on the PC

  • I forget to mention this song sets the mood!!!

  • haha 'last seen on foot' daaaaaamn right ;)

  • see these are the kinds of songs that make rock better than rap.

  • what a poor and sad time for music. People get to know Marriott's work from computer game :(

Well better this way than not at all....

  • well your right in a way, but since i heard this song on GTS SA i learned to really respect him and his music!

  • well, it's ok, I'm happy that people can hear his stuff anywhere but I'm just bitter that classic radio stations, TV, music magazines etc basically forgot about Marriott and music he did with Small Faces and Humble Pie :'( .

I don't know why it turned that way because SF were very popular band in UK and HP had their glorious years in US too

Such an underestimated talent and almost no support from music media and journalists, it seems that only other artists still keep on talking about him.

  • Well said my friend. Long live Humble Pie and Steve Marriott forever!!

  • @xJayWalkerx any publicity is good..so your statement is pretty stale..

  • @xJayWalkerx Why is it bad? I'm so tired of seeing these babies on here going "OMG THEY KNOW ABOUT MY MUSIC FROM A GAME NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Who cares were we learn about it from? I was 12 when I played this game for the first time, and now I am into all this great music.

  • @aegisfate117

Man, you understood it wrong. I'm not complaining about computer games, it's great that game producers use good music :)

It was rather my rant about music media, like classic rock stations and music magazines which feed us constantly with the same bands like Led Zeppelin, Eagles, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, The Beatles... they play over and over the same hits, and leave lesser known but fantastic music out, they let it sink into oblivion.

  • @xJayWalkerx totally agree man. I listen to the Classic Rock Radio stations whenever i'm riding the car, and its always the same music. I mean i know classic rock is limited because its not made anymore, but there are so many songs, and so many genres. If i ever get in the business i'll try to get all the classic rock.

  • @xJayWalkerx but they know this fantastic music. it doesn't matter HOW they know it.

    i'm italian, perhaps i've made mistakes :)

  • @xJayWalkerx

There's nothing wrong with games. They're just another form of media, exactly like films or TV.

  • @xJayWalkerx I agree. : (

  • @xJayWalkerx what video game features Steve? cant believe that!

  • what is the funniest on san andreas? killing people for money ofcourse if you have no cheatsXD i love more lynyrd skynyrd free bird the solo

  • GTA 4 life!

  • best song in GTA San Andreas!

  • "if the police can't stop you, you must be on the dust."

    awesome song!

  • THE DUST ! LOL :)

  • Yeah it allways reminds me of the good old san andreas times :) MUSIC NEVER GETS OLD - JUST A LITTLE DUSTY !

  • Yeaaah San Andreas Such great memories of my Old Home!

  • Steve Marriot , the finest white soul singer ever, and unfortunately the most underrated. Small faces,Humble Pie, solo.....the man was a star from the shoes up. Tragic end to his life and I personally miss such a loss of a great talent. Forget Weller (though great), Steve Marriot was the Mod of all time. And this song has always blown my head off, what a groove.....cool as christmas....in my top ten easy.

  • gta sanandreas.......!!!!!!!!

  • The one and only; Steve Marriot. Really good song!

  • what an awesome band...especially live!!! can you imagine what music they would have played if steve had not died...what a great loss...a mix of blues and funky ole soul....

  • A combination of rock and funky soul perfection. Shame on the pop radio FM playlist gurus who ignored Humble Pie in the seventies in favor of the crappy songs they made us hear. This highlights Jerry Shirley's drumming too.

  • Great rocker from the early 70's

  • Steve Marriot...a TRUE bad ass!

  • the perfect rock song

  • HELL YEAH! GET DOWN!

  • Great song from a the way underated "Eat It" album.....
