Even living in the go go bubble economy of Tokyo in the 80's didn't prepare me for JL and the LL.. But now I get it. Now I hear the genius. Funny though, hearing it takes me back to those times. Maybe something did get through even then.....
Potentially one of the most ground-breaking jazz albums ever recorded and produced. Unlike any other jazz from that time. John Lurie is a musical genius, shame I will never see him preform. :(
