Ive tried this phone and the Sonim XP3.2 Quest. The Samsung is able to send the pics via SMS. The Sonim Lacks creature comforts like being able to text the phots you take and furthermore the Sonim is $432.80 after tax thru Best buy.

its not waterproof for long .i thought it was waterproof and i would drop it in water and didnt care. then one time i droped it in water the battery cover leaked a little bit and now the phone does work.

If you need to disable PTT just use your fingernail to pull off the button. It pulls off easy and cut the round tab off the button with a razor blade and stick the button back on. It's that simple no rocket scientist needed.

My dog chewed up mine and broke the screen. Now it only works when it is on speaker phone and will drop calls. I've dropped it in my hot tub, left it out in the rain, buried it in my garden, dropped it repeatedly while getting out of my car. Basically abused the heck out of it. I can't afford a new one and no insurance on it. Other than that, It's a great phone. It is like a Timex watch, keeps on working, and I love it!

I got this phone the day it came out in black and have absolutely loved it. It became a joke in my college dorm where I would literally chuck the phone down the hallway and it would bounce around and end up undamaged. I've gotten it wet, kicked it around on the ground and stepped on it. My only complaint is that every time I open the phone it wants me to sign up for PTT. Other than that, easily the best phone I've ever had.

same thing here..fell off the bed, hit the babies crib, and crunch... top is no longer attached to bottom, just a small wire holding on. AT&T did nothing to help... I was 3 days over their 30 day warranty. Samsung still has my phone a week later after the 70 dollar charge. but it was either that.. or the AT&T crooks want me to pay for a new phone. Sprints better... I would suggest switching

My wife and I have the Samsung SGH-A707 and they are a piece of sh*t. If you are looking for dropped calls and receiving messages days after being sent then Samsung and AT&T are the companies for you. Also, if you like to charge your phone by continuously holding the plug into the phone (otherwise it will not charge) then the Samsung is also your phone of choice.
