Snyder has a very distiinguished voice. Not in the Hitchcock sense, but you're able to tell it's him unlike others who have a nondescript voice, and whom sound just like their siblings.
He hated the pigs too. I winder what he would say about US today with the HomeLandDefence and his native country exeeding the Big Brother from 1984 1000 fold? Imagine the horror movies he would produce to mach our reality.
Hitchcock's filmmaking philosophy poses an interesting question. What is more effective in regards to entertaining an audience the thriller of which he was an absolute master or the who done it which he loathed?
Hitchcock is a True Masters of Film not just horror or myster, just in film he knew movies he knew how tell u a story, and not many directors do that they dont give stories
im 12. i really like this guy :P hes so open. lady gaga did a intro for her tour inspired by him. and i saw gaga's intro and it was scary and i was like how is that inspired by alfred. and know i know :)
Fantastic. Isn't it time we found our modern day Tom Snyder instead of the clowns we have on late night. That can't talk to anybody for more than five minutes.
This is fantastic. Among other things it shows the advantage of conducting an interview without an audience. Tom Snyder does a great job here in giving Hitchcock the space to talk.
how fukin honest can one man get? hey youngins out there, listen to this man, grab a pad of paper, and jot what he says down. never know when you'll need to pick a wise mans brain. stay cool
I have been trying to find this for over 15 years! I even wrote Tom in the mid 1990s to see if it was available anywhere (he never responded). THANK YOU for posting it - Hitch is much more comfortable and cognizant than in the Dick Cavett interview a year of two later - I only wish it were longer -
lovely interview both are good !!!
