Then I offered a further opinion of mine which was that the series hasn't innovated and offered anything really 'new', which is a pretty just and fair opinion considering that's ultimately fact. I then finished my opinion off by saying Battlefield 3 is where it's at now, meaning I appreciate how Battlefield innovated.

And I would like to know how specifically Battlefield innovates. I love both series, but being more of a Street Fighter player, I fail to see how battlefield or ANY FPS today is innovative in any way. I just played the SP demo and it felt pretty real. The idiot bots went bum rushing headlong into machine gun fire while I stayed proned behind cover and snipped with my sights. I thought I was winning until I noticed that the terrorist bots just keep respawning- how lame. It took me a little while to find the compass with the yellow bulls eye telling you where to go. I died several times before I got pissed and went berserk. Then I died a couple more times before I finally won. lmao!
