  • I still remember watching this way back in 92 and being completely floored. I went out the next morning and bought the cassette tape and have been a fan ever since. To watch all these years later and still get goose bumps is remarkable.

  • If it helps at all, it's impossible to die from a panic attack.

  • she does not even know me, VA 1992, free tiks and back stage passes working for Musicland at the time. Best time of my life. Met Tori outside, cool chic and very talented. Been 20+ years and I would still follow her music anywhere....Guess you have to be there, nothing like Tori live!

  • "I've been here, silent all these years." Im getting a tattoo of those words soon. she's gotten me through so much. i owe this chic my life.

  • "Boy you best pray that I bleed real soon...how's that thought for ya?"

    I LOVE TORI !!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • As the years go by, still moved by this song

  • I love all Tori Amos music and own all albums....Truly Amazing....

  • Natural beauty, you fall in love just looking at her performance. Her voice, the way she sings, the way she play, the way she look, the way she move, a godess. Great song :)

  • I love you tori

  • this song got me thru a HELL of a lot nd hey look im still here..

  • "Boy you best pray that I bleed real soon. How's that thought for ya?"

  • Best song ever.

  • i purchased little earthquakes in the mid 1990's after my friend recommended it. i loved it. is tori still making quality music? are there any other albums that i should buy?

  • @RHernies70 hmmm...Some of the newer material is iffy some is great. Try American Doll Posse. it has some really good tracks on it like Big wheel and Teenage hustling.

  • the woman is amazing

  • im a guy and she made me feel her pain- i guess im just sensitive( but not gay)lol

  • @MrBrady06 why would you think that people might think you are gay if you are sensitive? :( I feel sorry for guys

  • I think she's so hot. Her music is beautiful and they way she plays piano gives me goosebumps.

  • Wanna say she was on Letterman, just cant remember anymore. But I saw the latenight performance, excellent!

  • Is this on Arsenio Hall?

  • Incredible artist and so very passionate!!! It's hard to believe this was almost 20 years ago. Where has the time gone?

  • Such an incredibly passionate performance.

  • truely friken amazing, the 1st time i heard this was early ninetys?? i was blown away as i am now, not much artsy music anymore,,, sad

  • I still remember the first time I heard this song. my heart broke open & she sang every word that spilled from it

  • sarah...u will b fine

  • She's never looked more beautiful to me.

  • intense

  • I was silent all these years - got raped, abused, bashed, but not silent anymore. I almost died from an anxiety attack. Hear your voice and make it heard.

  • If you like this, check out "You Don't Know" by Sinai 48, it's another good empowerment song for women. It's ostensibly about date-rape.

  • help yourself honey.

  • @rotateddisk I'm so sorry, a complete stranger but i sure am for YOU :( sorry so bad

  • @rotateddisk I hear ya, I just got out of a crisis unit :(

  • @rotateddisk If it helps any, we know you're lying. People who experienced that kind of evil don't advertise it.

  • @RSchmittyNJ1

yes they do, or you'd never hear about it. grow up

  • I tried to sing this.. can you come listen to me :)

  • wait...am i the only one seeing how she is moving????...cos its burning here

  • Everytime I hear this song it leaves me haunted with memories I should forget but still cling to even decades later. Brilliant.

  • When I first saw this video I was convinced that Tori was trying to break up my happy marriage!

But, I hardly ever dream about being her lead guitarist/sex slave anymore!

But, seriously, she is a mesmerizing talent that defies categorization. And, as with all gifted women singer/songwriters she is descended from The Goddess.

  • Why does she say: "funny lip shape" they are perfect. TORI ROX!

  • Wow what memories from the 80 and 90 what a voice and she can sing.

  • great song, great performance. She's never out of tune. Her piano is crystal clear. She's a great artists. Thanks god she's got nothing to do with pop trash.

  • i just came... and thats just from the musix.

  • Badfungus - what the hell are you on about?

  • wrong, she has never been a pop star, never had a top 10 hit... never suddenly tried to be a Jessica Simpson at age 30 like Jewel, she may be pretentious but if so, she has always been that way

  • Silent All These Years was a top 10 hit for 14 weeks

  • I think so

  • Perfect as usual!!!

  • Actually I'm positive it is the Dennis Miller show. Search: "Tori Amos Dennis" and you'll find a video with the intro.

  • I think it may be from the Dennis Miller show. I'm not positive but I think it may be.

  • I may be wrong, but here is what I did find out for sure...

95k Alec Baldwin / Tori Amos

95K means 11th show of the 1995 season.

(song): musical guest performs "Caught A Lite Sneeze"

(song): musical guest performs "Hey Jupiter"

  • it looks as if it may be "saturday night live"

because of the backdrop and the audience...I'm gonna go have a look at snl musical guest history... I will let you know in a few minutes (K!ndbuD)

  • could somebody please tell me what tv show this is from i had never seen this performance and i thought i had pretty much seen all the tv apearances from 1992 thanks torivid for the video

  • i loved her hair so much in 1992 haaa sorry that was so superficial btu it was just so amazing

im trying to imitate it, only in 2007 its so hardd.

    i love her

  • i LOVE it when she does head flips with it.

  • hahah rightt on.

  • There isn't a person dead or alive that even equals Tori Amos. 5/5 Thanks ToriVid for uploading this.

  • Amazing, gifted, perfect live. And she was so beautiful and ethereal

  • No, you really can't tell a huge difference, and that's the glorious thing. She is perfection live!!!

  • Can you tell the difference between the CD recording and this live performance?

  • she is so beautiful.....

  • she's great

  • omg she's not playing a bosendorfer :O

  • My guess is either she didn't discover bosendorfer yet or had to play whatever piano they had there on the set.
