  • way, way, way too much wood & pine cones

  • It's a great video thanks for sharing! Reminds me I need to do another esbit cook set video /)

  • I ordered mine today. Which one did you get?

  • @255sage The single door one. Which one did you order? I have found that dryer lint is one of the best fire starters. A wok ring also works great instead of the sleave they come with. Hope you do some out door cooking videos on it.

  • Purchasing the Stovetec was a very intelligent move. Now all you need is a Solar Oven Society Sport Solar Oven (w/reflector). I have the Stovetec and a SOS Sport Solar Oven. On sunny days I can cook without any power or fuel, and at night and during cloudy/rainy weather I use the Stovetec. Some days I use both in concert with each other, as needed.

Do a Youtube search for: Sport Solar Oven (or SOS Solar Oven)

    Stay smart!

  • @SororThothma Thanks, Solar Oven is a good ideal...

  • Also check out youtube.com/watch?v=TRu-WrhXGPc

They are called Thermal Cookers (super insulated pot cooking systems). I have a cheap one I got off Ebay which works really well. I painted the exterior of the pot hi-temp flat black. It fits nicely atop my Stovetec. I heat it to boiling for a few minutes, place it into its insulator and Vola! Hot food or water or whatever for several hours. Nice to have hot stew or hot water without firing up the Stovetec in the middle of the night.

  • very nice

  • @sugerbear520 Going to try to use my 6qt pressure cooker on it soon.

  • Paula's the lucky dog! Those stoves look just awesome. I'll have to save up more coins!

  • @SultanOfShinola They are nice. I think the company should have sent out a few to us ladies to do a review on.....Oh well.....Thanks for watching.

  • Its interesting, but considering the size, and weight, it would be of limited use to me. Where I think it could work well is in a nomadic situation, cooking for a group. It would be ideal for use in third world countries, but the cost would be prohibitive, its more then the annual income for many of them. I will check into it more, I wonder about burning dried cow dung, which is the main fuel in many places in the world.

  • @logcabinlooms They have some that they do send to 3rd world countries. I think dried cow dung would work just fine. Thank you so much for watching Sir. Take care...:-)

  • @Allen2045 Well,I may have to get one to try it out, I better get out in the pasture and collect cow pies before they get covere with snow. I did go on the website to look at them, but they never came right out and said it would burn dry cow dung, but I think they were just being delicate about it, they made referance to "other biomass fuels", which may be a veiled referance. I do like the humanitarian program they have going, so I may give it a try.

  • @logcabinlooms I wish I could get a hold of dry cow dung, I would feed it to my worms and use it in my garden. If you do get one please do a video. Thanks again for the comments

  • Glad you like it Paula!! Stovetec should have sent some of them out to us ladies to test drive..LOL Your soup looked good too.

  • Awesome! Tasty food as always! That food was still smoking after putting on the table, like you could have cooked other food off of it! lol

  • @VeracityNation I want to try my small pressure cooker on it some time. Have to play with it some more so I know how to adjust the heat. You either add fuel or take fuel out would be my guess!

  • Paula it's all your fault, now I am craving spicy chicken stir fry, lots of onions and garlic please.

  • Right there is the difference between a man and a woman. A man would have thrown the instructions in the pile with the rest of the cardboard trash! Then we would have burned all that junk in the burn barrel. After that we would have figured out we needed some help getting it put together. With the instructions no where to be found!lol

  • @Buckrun11 I tend to do better with instructions LOL. Same with recipes. If I have everything I need infront of me I do fine.

  • Cool new stove! Thanks Paula.

  • @JaxRL Thank you Jackie

  • How neat!!!!!! Looks wonderful.. that stove is the neatest thing I have seen. I might have to add that to the prepping list. Thanks for sharing!

  • @oaktreega It would be a great addition to a prepping list. Thanks you for watching.

  • Gotta love women. They always read the instructions. Great little stove. Thanks Paula for the review.

  • Sweet stove!

  • @SurviveToLife Thanks

  • What was the lighting tool you used. I've seen these kinds of tools. What brand is yours? Seems you had no trouble lighting it.

  • @InvisibleFriend77 Its a Survival Push Knife with Fire Starter Set. (Hunting Knife) HK-106320

  • That is a really cool stove :}

  • I want one ! How much was that? And thank you Paula!-_-

  • @255sage This one was $114.95 with shipping. They have cheaper ones and more expensive ones. I like this one.

  • @Allen2045 Thank you.

  • Add a cup of rice.........uh how about two, lol. Paula you always make me

    chuckle [n_n] thanks.

  • @2Bibleppl Thanks.....

  • @Ziva4Freedom It is a pot sleave. Supposed to help retain the heat so you dont burn as much fuel.

  • no fair yer cheating i wanna see the real review when ya carry it out in the woods n spend a few days out there lol

  • @rdnkrfnk If I carry it out into the woods how IM I going to drop bread crumbs to find my way back ?

  • @Allen2045 you mean to tell me all this great camping stuff n you aint even gonna go camping guess imma have to come by n get it all just so it dont rust up waitin on you to take it out campin lol

  • @rdnkrfnk LOL I have camped before. I will have to do a test run in my back yard. I have hiked before but have not spend the night in the great outdoors since I was a teen. Many Many moons ago.....

  • Now if they'd only make an indoor, gas, model so you didn't have to cook out in the cold weather. LOL Great demonstration! :)

  • @modoc42 Thanks, Just have to remember watch the clothing when looking into what ever I have cooking. Better yeat stir what's cooking from the other side.

  • @Ziva4Freedom I was just going to boil some water then I said hey I can do cooking video.

  • COOL!..Congrats Paula!

  • @dafrogtoad It is easy to set up.

  • Dang it now i'm hungry... :)
