The pdf is not a legal document. Only the ACTUAL PAPER document matters, which the State of Hawaii has already said is authentic.

The first document that Obama provided - "Certification of Live Birth" is a valid, legal, State certified birth certificate, so is the second one.

Open up Photoshop or Gimp or Inkscape or whatever your favorite image manipulation program is (they used Quartz). Now run one of the fancier filters for sharpening or dust removal or whatever. Notice what happens... OMG where did all those layers come from? Holy crap! The original document must be a forgery because now I have a bunch layers!

OCR, antialiasing, and other filters can create extra layers. try it out for yourself. You can tell because parts of the security background of the document are blended into the text. See for yourself. Isolate the text layer and zoom in.
