i rember in 96 going onto the internet for the first time and wtching a video about pokemon which back then was the shit it took 10 mins to load it and it was a 5min log vid and i thought omfg wouldnt it be awsome if in 20 years it would be instant and i could maybe watch it on my tv lol.

now i can watch it on my fucking i phone while in the middle of no wear.

never thought the internet would evolve the way it did.

@with33 Actually, the show came later due to the game popularity. But I was wrong, the games first came out in 1998, and the pilot episode " Pokemon, I choose you!" was aired on the same year in Japan, a year later in the United States with modifications. I read well the comments before anything, and doubting it may seems offensive.

Most of the real games are just publicity stunts by Valve redesigning their source engine to be compatible with Macs. iPhone/iPad really is Apple's strong suit and it's clearly the most popular mobile gaming "console" nowadays - Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony are really good enough. Once you get more consoles, you get bigger fragmentation, a la 2600/5200/7800/Intellivision/C­olecovision/SMS/NES...

I fucking love Computer Chronicles. Most people don't seem to know about this show. It was on TV for YEARS. I found out about it from seeing it a few times as a kid but never able to locate it again. Then I found it on archive.org 4 years ago and watched every possible episode that they had on there for then. They had.. episodes when the first hard drives were coming out.. computer games of the 80s.. 90s.. etc.. it was awesome.
