Totally agree. Apple mice are making my hand/arm hurt and I'm not as fast with those as I am with a PC mouse.

So I connected a PC mouse to my Mac and it works but there is something wierd going on.. the pointer really is slow and picks up speed as you move. This is very annoying. especially if you have to click the very small close button on Mac Windows.

There is no option do disable or reduce the mouse acceleration on a Mac!

The mac keyboards are annoying as well.

Thanks dude. Saved me a lot of trouble. I can also tell you not to buy the Microsoft 5000 Bluetooth Mouse as it takes about 60 seconds to wake out of sleep mode and that is if you shake it violently. I have not had good experience with Bluetooth Mouses. The Dynex Mouse sucks too. I am beginning to think that I will go back to non-bluetooth wirless as I never had these problems before and they are a lot cheaper. You did good and keep up the worthy service!!!!

FYI, I own 2 Magic Mice (Mouses?) and the right-click area feels completely different on each. If I only owned my first one, I would say it's the best mouse ever. If I only owned the newer one, I would advise everyone against buying one. What I'm saying is that your experience will depend on the one you get - sounds like a quality control issue to me.

you can enable left click. click on the apple go to "system preferences" "mouse" and then chuck the box that says "secondary click"

Not sure about accidental clicks here and I doubt I'll give it the chance... but it's super heavy and a massive fail as far as I am concerned. Studio work requires a lot of mousing around and magic mouse IMHO is hopeless... looks like a NInja but hits the mats like a Sumo! I also strongly recommend against the Magic mouse if you want to avoid RSI... lighten up Apple... your sleek little mouse has density issues! Usually a huge Apple fanboy... but not on this one. 8O(

I have had the same problem,My mouse keeps disconnecting from my computer. I did call Apple and they had NO problem with me sending it back on their dime and shipping a new one out in their dime. Again I had the same problem as you but Apple did take care of it!

I never liked the Mighty Mouse, it felt too big and awkward for me. I briefly used the Magic Mouse and found it to be really cool. I use a MacBook mostly and am so used to the trackpad, I'd rather use that. In fact if Apple did a keyboard for the iMac with a trackpad I'd buy one. For my iMac, I use a half-sized £5 USB mouse I bought at a computer fair, and that works great for me!

Hey Tom, its Jordan, I agree with you, the mouse isn't as good as what I expected it too be, at the moment this mouse doesn't have much functionality, their is left click, right click, scrolling and the only multi touch gesture i think is swiping with two fingers through websites, I prefer by far the functionality of my old wireless mighty mouse I loved the trackball (although occasionally it needed cleaning out due to dirt getting trapped) but you could the trackball in to launch the dashboard

I really loved this mouse until i got my magic mouse, I chose to continue using the magic mouse instead of my old mighty mouse because of the design, i love the shape of the mighty mouse its slim and sleek and i love the aluminium, it looks much better with
