Great video. The 100 rep requirement is freaking me out, though. I can do 100 with the 14kg bell, but 100 with the 24kg seems like an impossible task.
@xx0725 You'll be there before you know it. I would say to work your swings hard until you feel confident you can make a run at 100 at least with the 16 kg. Heavy and high volume swings are still a cornerstone of my snatch training. The Rite of Passage program in the book Enter the Kettlebell also works like a charm.
@averagetoelite thanks. I'll take your advice and just keep swinging. when I can do a run of 100 with the 24kg, I'll start working more seriously on snatching it.
ive been using kettlebells for over 5 years now and i have never seen anyone explain the change tip as well as that on youtube nice work mate much respect.
Very helpful video, Jordan. I'm working toward my cert in February, and I'll be practicing my "downhill transfer" for sure. Great time saver for the test.
Thanks for the video Jordan. I am currently putting together a training cycle for an upcoming RKC cert. I had my sites set for Sept, but it looks like it will be later than that. Anyway, most if not all, of your videos will be a part of my arsenal. Thanks the help.

Re: switching hands -- is that legal for the test? It looks like the second hand is still on the handle for the bottom part of the concentric assent.
KuriousJorj 1 year ago
@KuriousJorj It's legal. You just can't be using both hands when you come back up I.E. using both hands to produce force in the upstroke.

By watching this video clip, I kind of realized why Rif selected you to run the studio. People would love you and presentation is great.
