I'm British but manage to watch the CBS Evening News on Sky News and it is some of the best news presentation I have ever seen. The graphics and journalistic qualities are second to none.

And the thing to notice is that Ms Couric has no hangups or insecurities as do many ladies. She knows she is both intelligent and posseses the magneticism of beauty so she smiles effortlessly and sincerely. She radiates so an interview can be overshadowed by her personality unless the other person has a fantastic personality themselves.
Katie majored in History and English and has a degree in American Studies (American Civilisation). Her knowledge is very broad and deep. That being said, a mere movement of her ankles can mesmerize a man.

The interview of Ahmadinejad, here on YouTube didn't appear to serve any particular purpose(s) except (1) to confirm that he is a Holocaust denier, and (2), to show that that is part of his personal and political presentation. Neither of those facts had escaped me even though Middle East politics is the farthest thing from my everyday consciousness. So, for me, it had no value.
