It's okay. I'm just as lost as you are. I'm a new fan, I've known the Takarazuka only for a month now and I've become so obsessed though. I know the basic storyline for Ernest in Love, but I'm totally lost as to what's happening in this particular song... Asa looks totally adorable though.

HI ANorthernSong and LanBao! What's basically happening is that Jack has just asked Lady Bracknell for Gwendolyn's hand in marriage. When Lady B asks Jack who his parents are, and he tells her that he was found in a handbag in Victoria Station. Lady B has a fit and states that she will not let her daughter marry him so she can have relations with a handbag! The song is basically Jack telling Lady B he loves Gwendolyn and asks her to reconsider, while Lady B tells him to find some parents!
