Great tutorial, but only 1 thing doesn't work: the dissolved gradient for the stars. all of my screen gets covered with dots. So I made a round selection and then its fine. But does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Great tut as always!

At 2:35 when i went to make the round glob of pieces breaking off, it would always fill up my whole screen.

To fix this i used a round marquee to make a circle, then i filled that in.

i found it helps to dl the video in HD so i can spend more time reviewing the video.

you can do that when you create the brush smudge... simply by going to edit transform and then reshape it to how you want it ;) then add all the extra jazz

are you using a large brush to smudge with? try using a brush thats just a bit smaller then the gaussian blurred circle
