Thanks for the videos. Its really good to see there are other people on this earth that have this condition. You are definitely in a lot higher spirits then me, i still have many of my friends that don't know i even have the condition, and i have had it since birth.
Just wanted to know if youi have had any issues with the programable shunts? I still have issues with mine. I have had both shunts drained out with a needle. CJ

It's nice knowing some one else is going thru what I am I'm 13 I've had 27 surgeries in my life due to shunt malfunctions I still suffer everyday with horrible headaches
Your Anesthesia video kind of made me feel a little bit better about what could happen in the future. So far I've been quite lucky and made it for 17 years, but you never know what the future could bring. Do people in the UK like techno? (Trance techno keeps me from worrying when my head feels weird). I also like to DJ techno music, and remix it. (I love dance music and dancing to it, LOL). Anyways, thanks for being an inspiration to a Hydro guy like me. GOOD LUCK with your current shunt.
Hi, i've got hydrochephalus, was born with it. 41 now, have permanent short term memory loss (have to keep writing things down).
I was put into a special school because back then no one really understood the condition, and was labelled as a 'thicko'. found things hard at school and college with difficulty in remembering things, failed all my exams, had to put up with constant bullying (called egghead, kojak etc), still do.
As a result I cannot get a decent job, considered too high a risk,

I was told with my one there's no magnets in my shunt. Part of the valve is metal which is adjusted with magnets.
