@TheKingDuffMan Hmmm... thats happened to me too. try one of the following

a.) unmount exit come back mount it then exit come back and then play the map or something that had the checker board

b.) Using gcf scape ( asuming you have it if not then google it its very usefull) go to either episode 2 content, or materials and have a look there if you think you found it then extract the files ( right click then extract or the button on top) OR go back one and extract that folder

I've downloaded te map,and extracted it,but it won't work. When I try to use the map in-game,it doesn't appear in the map list. Same thing is true for Megastruct Final and Megastruct Night. I have the HL2 Episode Pack w/HL2:DM. Any reccomendations? I use the latest GMod.

spawn menu, gm_botmap bit. the sliders are in there along with a small map that you can use to orientate yourself. The train and airship shown in the video are mine... Alias on Steam: Nadanova. Happy building.

you don't acctualy need hl2, you just need the models, textures ect in steamapps

Umm, i played this map at a friends hous, he has Ep2 but i don't so i can't play it, and i garuntee 50% or more of the people that have Gmod dont have Ep2. you should replace all the textures and models from Ep2 with Non Ep2 textures and models for the people that don't have it. It's no that hard just do a find and replace for all the trees and replace them with regular trees ETC I really love this map but it is completely unplayable without ep2.

You'll have errors everywhere, and millions of missing textures. Ep2 is the main thing it runs off, HL2 and Ep1 are just used for a few textures.

k im kinda annoyed at the download lol. i have tried a number of things:

1. Put in addons

2. Put in Garrysmod/garrysmod

3. put in both maps

4.put one file in addons and particles folder in garrysmod/garrysmod

5. put in maps
