  • Has anyone ever told you that you look like Gary Rossington? Btw great playing bro.

  • daath!

  • was the head wider than the cab?

  • Best thing that the 2009 and later productions are not plagued with the molex issues as they fixed this from the factory soldering it direct to the board.

I have the combo 212 and I tell ya its a beast. so far everyone that had noodled on it says it has great tone and can go from mellow to the metal of metals. Plus a new set of hi end tubes and BIAS job and you can yield more.

the combo comes with el34s but you can install 6L6's throw the switch and BIAS to be safe and you have more headroom

  • Make a band with me. please.

  • i'm thinkin' about this amp and a recto, this one seems to lack very little in comparison to the recto from what i've seen so far, plus its so much cheaper, mind givin' me your opinion on the situation?

  • What speakers are you using? please, answer! ._.

  • @galego111 Stock Randall Jaguars buddy.

  • at first i was like "meh, i dont know if this amp has the balls i need"...then you played daath and i was like "FUCK YES!!!!" just went and bought one..im in love :D lol

  • @xxc3lld4m4gexx You're welcome man! lol Enjoy it!

  • WOW awesome playing && awesome amp :D 6:00 Daath \m/

  • hey dude,do you like your randall head or the bugera head better? and some guy is selling this on craigslist for 400 and i want the amp, but is that a good deal?

  • @Minnesotankid95 The Bugera for sure!

  • @Minnesotankid95 thats too much too pay. My paw shop that i work is selling the 333xl for $350.00

  • @Minnesotankid95 in perfect condition.

  • @mickthomsonify The Bugera for sure!

  • Comment removed

  • Man, please tell me what settings you were using for that doomy lead channel sound. It was fucking sick

  • how often do you have to replace the tubes?

  • @IbanezShredz55 Depends on how it is biased and how often you play, and how hard you play. Tubes will last years if you play at bedroom volume and have them properly biased, but if you play live, they will wear much quicker. Every year is a good rule of thumb, or whenever the tubes tone is withering away.

  • Hey that's the same cab that I have! Did you do anything special to it or is it stock? If it's stock, I definately won't need another cab when I buy the bugera!

  • @apophis135 Its bone stock man!

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 Well that makes me feel even better about getting the Bugera! Is it comparable to some of the really high end amps like Mesa Boogies and Marshalls, etc.?

  • @apophis135 Tone wise?? Of course!!!

But, it probably will not last aslong as a Mesa or Marshall. They cut corners somewhere.

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 Yeah that's what I've heard. I'll just get a 3 year warranty with it or something along those lines.

  • DUDE RONNI VAN ZANDT DID"NT DIE!!!

  • perfect sound ,great guitar, cool player.

  • alot better than the randal ?

  • wich is better for hard rock and "no too brutal"-trash metal?

what do you think between this 2 options: peavey valveking100 or bugera333xl??

please help me. I like more the bright sound an obviously I want blowin mind gain.

    thanks

  • i was gonna go cheap and buy an ibanez tbx150h but now i know im buying this amp \m/

  • ESP Eclipse II and you would be "well" served...LOL

  • ALBATROSS!! :D

  • hay man i love your crunch sound in this vid! could you give me some general settings that you use to get that kind of crunch out of this am?

  • Nice amp man, Great Sabbath riffs!

  • @1y3t4823 Thanks man! I love me some Sabbath!

  • great playing man. in your opinion would this amp be closer sounding to a marshall or a mesa. and have you tried the bugera 1990

  • @slowturtle34

    On the Crunch channel, Marshall.

    Lead channel, Mesa.

Best of both worlds! Check out my newer videos :)

  • damn!I didn't know these sounded so good. i was saving up for a mesa dual rec,but after hearing it i don't need one.thanks man you saved me a grand or more!!

  • @metalmaniac426 Yea buddy, they sound fantastic!

Save your hard earned cash until you REALLY need a mesa. This amp will do me for years until I get enough money for a Orange Rockerverb 50!

    Your welcome man. :)

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 Make sure to get the rocker MKII! The original one doesn't have a mid range for the clean channel, and although the highs and lows and dependent on eachother, you'll really need that midrange or a eq pedal for getting that mid unscooped!

  • @metalmaniac426 Hey man haven't you heard of the new Bugera Tri-Rec thats comin out!? its a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier for $750 just wait a little longer!!

  • the tone is awesome, but is ot noisy when not playing ?

  • wud u reccomend this amp for death metal etc?

been lookin for a vavle head and every head i look at seems awesome until some twat says never buy any of these heads and im jst lost!

  • @THEWRETCHEDCRYPT Yea dude, get it. Dont listen to the people who put down Bugera. Sure, their first year or two of production had its flaws, but you dont hear about the amps failing not. Im pretty sure they have fixed all issues. Mine has been going strong for a year now. All I need to to is replace the tubes, but thats understandable for all tube amps that get played as much as That thing does. Hope that helps. :)

  • @44662924466292 i listen to all those same bands and this amp can do it but the 6262 might give you more of an adtr/prada tone and 333 for tas and abr. but you can set them both to these tones either way

  • @44662924466292 I am not familiar with those bands, but I say yes. This amp can do anything man!

  • C.O.C !!!!

  • @ICOMEFROMURANUS YES! :D

  • way to fckn shred man...sounds kick ass!!!

  • nice style and playing man, keep it up, and nice song song selection too!

  • @TheStevemullins Thank you sir :)

  • hey m8 very nice tone... does the clean channel has any crunch or is pure clean tone ?

  • @aris17561 It gets crunchy if you turn it up to ear bleeding volumes.

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha that answer was very funny... ha ha thank you man for your answer...

  • @aris17561 Haha no problem. If your wanting clean channel crunch, dont get this amp. Get something 50 watts or less because the headroom a 120 watt tube amp will deliever can and most likely will rip your head clean off of your shoulders lol.

  • nice take on some old sabbath and corrossion

  • nice take on some old sabbath

  • Well, I broke down on my "NO TUBES!!!" thing and got this head today....and it fucking kicks ass!!! Although, I will still be using the Randall occasionally. =)

  • what overdrive are you using??

  • I Dont like El34tubes :S

    I prefer 6L6 Rather than EL34,

  • @anwerpelut Well THAT sucks

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 the 6L6 ?? mesa boogie 6l6/5881 ?

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 Amen to that!!

  • @anwerpelut What are the differences between EL34s and 6l6s? I'm trying to find a fat, oversaturated tone and I want something that goes with the scooped mids, high gain and treble.

  • @KissMeImPunk Well, think "American" and "British" tones. Like Mesa BoogieFender style amps and Marshall style amps. The tone your going for, I would pick 6L6's. 6L6's have a more glass like tone and usually break up smoother and have more bottom end definition. EL34's are usually more mid range heavy and are usually more raunchy. I personally prefer the tone of EL34's :)

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 Are there any differences between the brands of 6l6s like..for example Svetlana and Mesa Boogie 6l6s? If so which ones would fit the best for my style of playing?

  • @KissMeImPunk go to Euro Tubes.com.they list different tubes for metal.rock.clean,etc.or the tube store.com

  • @anwerpelut matter of taste. i love el34s

  • @anwerpelut Actually, you can get the Bugera 333XL Infinium Head, and you actually have the ability to change the amp's tube complement from EL34s to 6L6s. And you can do it yourself because of the Infinium Valve Life Multiplier technology. You can put in the new tubes yourself, and the amp will bias the tube automatically.

  • @ThePeaveyGeneration you could swap out tubes in the original 333xl for 6l6, just you had to know what you where doing so you wouldn't stuff the bias

  • Hi dude ! great sound demo ! what is the Daath song you're playing in this video ? ( since 6 minutes ) Thx ;)

  • I love this amp as well! Great value, great playing mate! What are your settings when you started to play death metal? Sounded really ballsy!

  • Nice, I heard ya playin' some Corrosion (3:55). That band fuckin' kicks ass.

  • Emil Werstler, what band is he from?

  • @hepatitis123 Daath :) Check em out, And Emil is a AMAZING guitarist

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 That sounds good. I really want to get this amp. What speakers are in that Randall cabinet? I will probably look for a good deal on a 4x12 with Celestions, either Vintage 30 or Gt12-75. Which speakers do you think would sound better with this head?

  • @ctalbert1 It has the stock "Jaguar" speakers. Pretty cheap ones, but I like the tone im getting.

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 emil is one of the most underrated/unknown modern guitarists

  • @thethrashboss I agree 100% man

  • What were your settings to get that thick sludge/doom sound on your lead channel?

  • @underwaterscatcave Dont really remember man! For a thick EW type tone, lead channel, gain full, bass full, treb about 6, and the pres at 5. For a Mor emid rangey ballsy Sleep like tone, Crunch channel, full gain some sort of OD pedal, alot of mids, alot of bass, half the treble and half the pres :)

  • I'm about to get one of these bitches >:P .... But I must ask, which model is the randall?

  • @zilch1823 RX120RH

  • nice vid. Nice to see another daath fan.

  • what stoptail are you using?! Where I can buy this wraparound type?!

  • @bigrock007 Stock one man... You can wrap around a stock stoptail

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 does ist make any difference in the intonation or are the strings "jumping" around on the stoptail?

  • @bigrock007 Intonation, yes sometimes. Strings jumping around? No, unless the break angle isnt enough. Then the strings will slip out of the saddles if you play too hard. Just screw the stoptail all the way down to the body of the guitar. It should be fine

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 I'll try it the next time on my Epi SG with Seymour Duncan SH8's

  • hey man that's a randall rh 50 t ? i ì'm asking this to you because i have it and it sound very crap for any kind of metal.does the bugera have a good presence?i am thinking to buy one but i am undecided between the 333 and the 6262.thank you in advance :)

  • @kimkikki Definately the 333XL, the xl switch tightes up the bottom end. the 6262 is a great amp dont get me wrong but is definately a one trick pony. the 333xl is ballsier (hey its a word) and in the end you wont mind paying the little extra money for it. I own both the 333XL and the 6262. 333XL will blow you head clean off your shoulders.......it's that awesome.

  • Good stuff man.

  • HECK YEAH, 'FOR YOU DEATH METAL PEOPLE'!!!!!!!!! I just so happen to be one of those people my good sir... This reminds me of an ENGL so much, with the noise gate and all... and my head just blew at a show last night. So count me in as a new supporter of Bugera. \m/

  • @TheBackwoodsMassacre

Haha yea, tonally that lead channel is very ENGLish. These Bugeras blow my mind. The tone.... wow

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 I'm surprised really. I'm saving to get a couple of these heads now... I can't wait to hear each of my LTDs through it! Add a Tube Screamer to the mix and dear sweet lord you'll have an unstoppable behemoth of tone.

Kevin Smith- Lead Guitar for The Backwoods Massacre

  • Whats your settings man

How does the 333xl handle low volumes?

  • @225tommo It handles low volumes really well actually. I usually set it like this. For cleans Treb: 7 Mid:3 Bass: 8

Crunch: (for metal) Treb: 5 or 6 Mid :8 Bass: 10 Gain: full blast

Crunch( for more classic stuff) Treb 5 or 6 Mid 8 or 9 Bass 10 and the gain anywhere between 5-7 and I set the presence based on what im playing.

Lead: Treb: 5 Mid:3-8 Bass: 10 and Gain on about 5 and Use a SD-1 for a boost. How I EQ it really depends on what im playing. Its never the same

  • hey how do you like the Bugera Vs the Randall Im Pro Randall.. I havent researched much on Bugera but ya I think the next amp I get is gonna be a randall.. I have a Genz Benz El Diablo100 4x12 and Its cutting it for now.. Pretty nice tone just need a little more power

  • this chick can play pretty good!

  • I bet this "chick" can break your neck

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 hey how do you like your Bugera Vs The Randall? Im Pro Randall but curious about the Bugera(Tone SOunds great especially the factory distortion). I have a Genz Benz Eldiablo 100w 4x12 G-FLex and Its got great tone just needs a little more power I think the extra 20 watts would cut er!

  • @blackpoopshadowfear

Man, im not gonna lie... This amo blows the randall out of the water. Power, tone, clarity, warmth, respose, and dynamics. Its amazing seriously. I have yet to play an amp that sounds better than it, and ive played some of the biggest name brands, Marshall, Oranges, Mesas, Bogners etc. And none of them sound anything near this amp!

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 are they really expensive?

  • @blackpoopshadowfear Well for a 120 watt all tube 3 channel head, no... But its alot of cash. It was $599.99 I believe. Well worth the cash, no doubt about it

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 Cheap! Mine was 1500.00 just for the head.. hmm When I run this thing into the ground I might think of that one!

  • Have you seriously just been playing for 2.5 years? That´s fucking amazing! I've been playing for close to 2 years now, and i totally suck! :P Keep rocking dude! I know this video is about the Bugera, but would you say that any Randall stack would be a good first stack?

  • Hey man, yea 2.5 years. I practice ALOT. Yea that Randall stack is really a nice amp. It was y 1st stack and I love it. The cab is actually really good, so when you later upgrade to a new head, no worries there!

  • Beautiful sound. I have a question: the sound changes a lot if I use a "Les Paul" rather than a Schecter or an Ibanez? Currently I own a Les Paul and I wish that the sound is quite aggressive.

  • Hmmm are you asking if it will change?? If thats the case then no not really. As long as the guitar is mahogany neck/body it will have a similar tone. Not exact but similar and pickup type also playsa large role...

  • I understand. Thanks for the reply.

  • LordOfThisWorld74 : The SD-1 is on and off. It doesnt add any color to the tone, just some more gain.

Which raises one more question. Is the SD-1 adding more distortion, or do you have it set up primarily as a boost?

  • Im not 100% sure what it was at the time but I use it mostly now as a boost. On the I use it for more gain, on the lead for a boost

  • Dude! Absolutely KILLER demo of a killer sounding amp! Excellent stuff.

This is just the kind of video which SHOULD show other YouTube members the way to demo amps. Just shut up and PLAY people! Nobody wants to hear all that jibber jabber.

    /rant over

Just a few questions if I may.

    1. What kind of speakers are in the Randall cab?

    2. Any mods to the amp at all?

    3. Do you use the SD-1 at all times or just here and there?

  • Haha thaks alot man!

    Questions:

    1. The speakers are the stock jaguars (cheap o's)

    2. No mods what so ever. Stock tubes

    3. The SD-1 is on and off. It dosent add any color to the tone, just some more gain.

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 How do you have the tone on the SD-1 set? Mine takes away bass. But i love it

  • Yea it can take away from your EQ but if you set it right its just more hair on the distortion. I set mine usually with all of the controls at 2 o'clock or so when I use my les paul. When I plug in my SG i turn the tone down to about 8 o'clock.

  • i loved that Kelly Clarkson song u played at 7:07... your my hero.... r.i.p. Michale Jackson.... lol :P

  • Wow....

Those 2 names do not even belong any where around my videos haha

  • hey man , i think this is the endless time i'm asking about your gear , now i wanna ask you about the amp , i once considered buying a randall but now i'm thinking about these babies ,sadly i can't afford testing them out in a shop that's why i read a lot on the internet , i've heard that these amps are pretty unreliable but the tone is killer . would you mind sharing your opinion and experiences?

  • I dont mind the questions at all. This will probally make you not want to get one, hope it dosent BUT my 1st one died in 2 days. Im not sure what happened but im pretty sure it was a faulty tube. The plates in the tubes glowed really hot and orange so I turned it off. Then it made a pop. I think that was the fuse going. I dont think it was nothing major but I got it replaced because it was still under warranty. Ive even heard of marshalls and oranges dieing in days because of this issue.

  • haha fuck it , that did scare me a bit but what the hell it's gonna be under warranty , and i just love zakk wylde stuff , and i'm sure this is gonna do great . thing is i wanna gig with it .. all i hope and want is an amp that can be reliable you know? not to break down and stuff i wouldn't mind if it came DOA i'd just send it back and get a new one . i gotta admit the tone is killer , how about your experience with gigging and moving around with it? and how are the knobs holding ?

  • This is the amp you need if you want to play zakk stuff. The crunch channel with the gain dimed and the EQ right sounds so close to a Marshall JCM 800 that its scary. I have no gig experience with it. Im not gonna guarantee reliability but its pretty sturdy feeling. The knobs are fine also

  • would this be a good back up head or a good head to take to rehersal i have a blackstar series one which is my main gig head but the rehersal space my band use is a shit hole and we're gigging a fair bit now so would this head work as a back up to my blackstar and would it suit being taken to rehersals to take some stress off my blackstar

  • Oh yea. The tone of this thing is up there with the really expensive amps like your black star. Im not experienced in moving it around so I cant say much about how reliable it is

  • ok cheers dude deffo gunna get one of these, thanks for the help

  • Great demo, wicked LP, what more could you want? :D

  • killer tone, fixing to get me one

  • motherfucker sounds MEAN

  • D I only tune that les paul to D or lower.

  • fucking killer, man. Pure ass-kickery.

  • good shit man. that thing fn cranks.

  • Thanks!

  • Holy damn! that thing is a tank. excellent playing man!

  • Its GREAT for doom stuff man. Me and you need to do a original collab video. Any ideas?

  • Also, are you using any pedals? I know you've got your wah hooked up, but is that just the head sound, or do you have your whole board hooked up too? Sounds awesome, BTW. Albatross sounded dead on.

  • Its the pure sound. I step on a boss SD-1 every now and then. It just gives it a LITTLE gain boost. Nothing drastic and it keeps the tone how it is. My whole board only consists of a Crybaby, SD-1, and a Hardwire DL(delay/looper) in the effects loop. Thanks!

  • You have the head playing through the Randall speaker?

  • Yep

  • hey dude great amp i was waiting for you to record it jaja sounds awesome i'm getting a laney i think, i live in mexico so bugera is kinda difficult to find god i wish i had an amp like yours jaja by the way i know you get this a lot but for how long have you been playing dude?

  • About 2 1/2 years now. What kind of laney?? Thanks for the kind words!

  • well it is a lv300 120 watts and one tube in the pre-amp its not as good as a bugera or that kinda stuff but maa i think i will give it a try, hey dude i hope you upload more vids bye for now

  • I will post more vids real soon with my SG in standard and my acoustic through it

  • awsume . but just curious what the nieghbors think.. do u live in a apartment or house :D ?

  • An apartment with a basement..... Haha I live in a house out in the middle of nowhere

  • LOL I would love to live in a house in the middle of nowhere. Crank my shit up with no one complaining. :P

  • Well there are parents to worry about haha...

  • Love the amp, love the guitars (The finish on your LP looks really good) & your playing is superb.

  • Awesome tone, awesome playing. For how long you've been playing? That's a nice guitar, if i'd make a signature guitar for myself it would be similar to that, but it would be an SG. Also, can you tell me the name of the songs you played, I've heard some Sabbath and BLS in there but the others I'm no so sure.

  • Uhh the ones that I can name off the top of my head is this

    St. Vitus dance

    Killing Yourself to Live

    Albatross

    From the Blind

Revolution is my name(the dimebag tone on this thing is amazing)

    Alaska

I think thats it. Alot of it is improvised (especially the really heavy part)

  • And Black Massed Reverands(if the spelling is right haha)

  • For all of you death metal fans, make shure you watch the whole thing or skip to about 5:30

  • Goddamn, it sounds awesome!

  • Its taking it forever to process, it will sound better when its done

  • Heh, forgot about the processing. It already sounds good now. Would love to hear it when its done processing.

  • God damn... i don't think i ever heard a better sound come out of a guitar...

What is the price of this pleasure? (amp head)

  • $599.99

  • E slusaj, moj brat ima taj amp, i kazem ti. MRZIM GA!! stvarno nije dobar!

  • ???

  • @DrumGuitarDude
