@aswertiobn It is, but still, you have to go trough Itunes first. If you want to share tunes with people and get tunes from your friend's computer, if they or you don't have itunes instaled... it's all screwed. Also, I've noticed that when I would add a friend's tune-set to my ipod, my own set would erase. I think that it all works with your account, and it changes the settings due to another accounts... The quality of an ipod is awesome, though. I can't say anything against that.

Ur rite the main reason I got this is because of the radio which is pretty kool u can tell which song it is and download that on itunes and the second main reason is the special voice recorder ima high school student and this really helps me on math just chillax, take a nap, light a smoke, then go back home and still get an A- on mine homework this product kicks ass
Basically anything that plugs into the headphone jack will pick up radio signals. It's simply the metal wire that does it. Nothing special about Apple earphones.
Im so mad they discontinued the 5g nano, all i see in stores is the 6g nano which is like a shuffle with a touch screen on it for $100 more. It looks so cheap looking to me, especially since ive had an ipod touch before, and not even a quarter of its size. Id take a 5g or 4th generation nano over a 6th generation nano any day, thats a huge step backwards.
Watching video on a screen that small has made my eyes weak. So it's better to watch videos on an iPhone or itouch. But I think what apple did with the nano is probably the right thing I have the 6g and I love it it's beautiful. I just got this one after selling my third gen Nano (since I think the sixth gen one is a rip off), but I've noticed that with the same number of songs it feels slower than the oldone. For example, if I select a specific song there is often a few seconds before the screen does anything or the song starts playing, often making me click again making something else happen which is really annoying. I've already tried a fact. reset, and since it uses flash memory defrag won't help, what should I do?
@genuzis On the 5G the mic beside the camera works fine, if you have a 6G you need to use a mic on the headphones. The remote headphones are not packaged with the iPod Nano.

when i go to my music and play a song, it takes like 5 seconds to pop up the song. why is that??

its possible to set up "switch off" time? e.g. when I am going to sleep, radio is playing and I want automaticly switch off ipod after 30 minutes ;)
