  • Great movie, one a my favorites.

  • This single clip of 1:12 minutes has more acting in it than most actors can offer in an entire film. Powerful!! That's Entertainment!!!!!

  • The shock of this scene, when I saw it released the first time, realising what De Niro did to himself. I will never forget it!

  • 3 people thought Rocky was better

  • A horse, a horse

    my kingdom for a horse

  • One of the most memorable moments in cinema. Thank you De Niro & Scorsese.

  • the last shot is brilliant. Just a cut from the fat mess he is to a young strong perfect sportsman. Brillant editing.

  • THATS ENTERTAINMENT.

  • its funny how i couldnt get past the movie(i made it about to the part where he pours cold water on himself to get rid of a boner) but i couldnt put the book down. took me 3 days to read it

  • That´s acting baby!

  • That's Entertainment!

  • a cinematic masterpiece...I get chills down my spine watching this...never seen a better beginning and end, cinematography wise, to a movie...

  • Though Id much Though Id rather hear you cheer when you delve Though Id rather hear you cheer when I delve into Shakespeare A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse! I havent had a winner in six months. And though Im no Olivier, I would much rather And though Im no Olivier, if he fought Sugar Ray He would say that the thing aint the ring, its the play. So, give me a stage where this bull here can rage. And though I can fight, Id much rather recite. Thats entertainment.
  • the monologue of monologues

  • amazing movie.......just amazing. everything about it is perfect. the acting the casting the black and white filming the music. everytin.....cinematic history.....de niro one of the greatest this and godfather 2 his 2 best performances

  • "I'll fuckin' take care of you later!"

  • Ya botha me 'bout a steak!

  • awesome

  • that was de niro??? hes good at acting

i thought it was Vito Corleone from godfather, the Marlon Brando version of vito

  • @permatasly looks like it. looks alot like the capone he did (6?) years later, then 2 years after that ('88), he was as slim as taxi driver ('76)...de niro is the most dedicated actor ive ever seen. hes changed his weight more times than the real jake la motta did

  • Questo è spettacolo ...

  • "So give me a stage, where this bull here can rage"

  • That's Enterainment!

  • Sorry about my syupid question but who is Olivier he mentioned.

  • laurence olivier, famous actor

  • I think this movie was DeNiro's finest work. But the monologue still reminds me of a skit John Candy did for SCTV: a commericial for a restaurant called "Jake LaMotta's Raging Bull-B-Que". "We got burgers, we got fries, we'll cook 'em here before your eyes...Da da di da..That's Entertainment..."

  • Robert DeNiro Legend!

    Bob

  • this is excellent!

  • my favourite scene

  • best scene ever

  • Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what a performance!!! 1 of the best ever great actor..

  • I remember those cheers,

They still ring in my ears,

And for years they remain in my thoughts.

'Cause one night I took off my robe,

And what'd I do? I forgot to wear shorts.

I recall every fall, every hook, every jab,

The worst way a guy can get rid of his flab,

As you know, my life wasn't drab.

  • Though I'd rather hear you cheer When I delve into Shakespeare.. 'A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!' I haven't had a winner in six months. And though I'm no Olivier, If he fought Sugar Ray, he would say That the thing ain't the ring, it's the play. • Excellent! Thanks for the text.

  • no offence, but stupid question, obviously Raging Bull

  • Perfect!

  • Great clip from an excellent movie.

    Thanks!

  • the best of the best robert de niro the most natural actor

  • i completly agree

  • thanks for reply what a film this was very powerful performance by de niro

  • Though I'd rather hear you cheer when I tell them the SHakespeare,

A horse a horse my kingdom for a horse,

    I haven't had a winner in 6 months.

    And though I'm no Olivier,

And before Sugar Ray, he would say that the thing ain't the ring it's the play,

Ao give me a stage, where there's bull heck and rage,

    And though I can fight,

    I'd much rather recite...that's entertainment!

  • I remember those cheers

They still ring in my ears,

    And for years,

    I remain in my thoughts,

As you know my life was in drab.

  • Life's a bitch!!!

  • "What do you prefer, Raging Bull or The Elephant Man?"

  • How can you compare raging bull with the elephant man? but anyway i prefer raging bull ofcourse

  • deeeeeary me, Raging Bull hands down my friend

  • he looks like james gondalfini here

  • this is film is simply amazing nowerdays all actors put on and lose weight for film roles but back then it was really something for de niro to do what he did it was not the norm for actors to do so im glad hollywood rejected this flick because they base success on how much money a film's made , but can never see a great film's true value

  • Robert De niro gained 60 pounds on the scene JAKE LA MOTTA 1964 but his original weight is on the scene JAKE LAMOTTA 1941.

  • he keeps skipping to the last part "i'd much rather recite".

  • He's not reciting: he's rapping, hehe.

  • Although I can fight, I'd much rather recite.

  • I kept getting "that's entertainment" stuck in my head after seeing this movie.

  • black an d white!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL, every time I watch this I feel like a cigar.

  • One of the best monologues in film history!

  • give me a stage where this bull here can rage

  • Comment removed

  • Uh, most people here who speak English don't know what he's saying, so don't feel bad. I'm glad people put up the text.

  • Perhaps the greatest lines spoken in film history.

  • could not have said it any better...
