Emmerdale just showed this episode ( in australia) with this beautiful song at the end. Just loved the words and music, so glad was able to find and enjoy.
most embarassing moment -giving Boo a kiss on the cheek(fraternally you understand! )after his Jazz Cafe gig a few years ago on my birthday-2nd most embarassibg attempting this song at at the Ealing folk club-
This is a fantastic song and great recording. Really pleased you included his comments about the song at the beginning as well! Always love his live banter!
Thanks for the kind comments. It was recorded using two (unattended) Canon MV890s on full zoom from the gallery at about 30 degrees to the stage. I edited in the shots of Rob (Vegas) later for a bit of colour. His playing is fantastic - very atmospheric. The audio (also taken direct from the 890s) sync was delayed a bit on the upload, but I was quite pleased with the result. A great artist and songwriter. Highly under-rated in my opinion.
One of my hobbies involves scouring the net for mp3's of new music that I have yet to hear. One of the best finds I have had is an mp3 of this song by a different artist.
This is an awesome song by an awesome musician. To hell with pop.

Caught a bit of this song when flicking through the channels once several years ago, it was on Emmerdale when Tricia died. Always stuck with me.

I saw Boo at the Lemon Tree supporting Ricky Ross. Boo blew me away. Very underrated performer and a fantastic talent.
