I wish we got that kind of snow in Oregon. We just get lots of rain usually. Actually last winter we got quite a bit of snow. Most I've seen in years. :D
This year we got a week of snow days the week before getting out for Christmas break. That's another thing that pisses me off how Christmas Break has to be called Winter Break now so as to not offend those who do not celebrate. Anyway back to the point we normally get maybe 6 inches a year.
I remember this blizzard. At one point there was total white out (I was driving over the prison point bridge at the time), then there was lightening and thunder. Such a strange storm.
dude i live in dickinson, ND and tell you me that u can come up here this winter and ill show u a blizzard..lol...but lately with global warming and stuff its just been extremely cold..like today 60 degrees..then tonight 18 degress...i love the nodak
Very cool video. I love the way the trucks come by and plow and then it covers the road up again in no time. It's a never ending battle in weather like that.
Well, thats what a blizzard is - so feel free to call it that next time it happens.
"According to Environment Canada, a winter storm must have winds of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more, have snow or blowing snow, visibility less than 1 km (about 5⁄8 mile), a wind chill of less than −25 °C (−13 °F), and that all of these conditions must last for 4 hours or more before the storm can be properly called a blizzard."
nice classy there music

I like the way the snow goes away when a vehicle passes through, only to fill up again later.

Im from australia and have only experience very little snow in london. Do you get sick of snow, does it wreck your day? Or is it fun and exciting?

Really? Here in Washington, we get tons, literally tons of snow. Supposedly my city broke some sort of record this year, we got a week of snowdays.

We got 20+ inches of snow in 9 hours! Yeah, from where I come from, that's a blizzard. Plus, the 40mph winds were a large factor too.
