Who/what/where/when is this? Checking these guys out cuz I played the Dee Dee Ramone song 'Bad Horroscope' for a friend, which features Lux Interior on vocals, and he said reffered to The Cramps as legends and could not believe I had not heard of them.

You can see Lux is laughing at something and one of the girls in the audience is too.Probably some illicit sexual behaviour? Nice to know the audience gave back some fun times anyway.

The point I was trying to make, though, was that although the Cramps coined the term "psychobilly", a term they borrowed from Johnny Cash, their music isn't necessarily psychobilly. I supported my claims by Lux Interior himself. I didn't think this was going to be so controversial considering I'm quoting the lead singer himself...

The Cramps were an early punk and rockabilly group... They are not psychobilly. They influenced psychobilly music but they themselves aren't psychobilly. The Meteors are the first true psychobilly band. Lux Interior even publicly stated that they were not psychobilly.

@movid Anyway, I've heard all the Cramps stuff and finde them to be plenty energetic and technicaly proficient,.. not to mention imaginative, funny ( two other qualities which I admire in a rock 'n roll act ) and with a very cool and distinctive musical style.
