If you read the book and knew what the song really was about, you could really appreciate the video here. It's very graceful and lovely... Neil went through some things that almost ended his career or possibly taking his own life. But he overcame and RUSH lives on, the greatest band on the face of the earth...

When I hear this song, I can't help but think of the pain and anguish it sprang from...and I cannot stop the tears. Had what happened to Neil not happened...there would be no Ghostrider. A lot of things would have been different, no? I love this song...but am so sad because it came in the face of such sorrow.

I find their rhythm more jazzy than usual mainstream rock so it takes 2 or 3 listens to appreciate a tune.

Reading "Ghost Rider" gave me a whole appreciation for the album "Vapor Trails" as a whole. Knowing where Neal was going through during that period in his life, and reflecting all that into the songs that became "Vapor Trails" makes that album all the better....... JUST REMASTER THE THING ALREADY! It sucks that Neal very powerful lyrics have to be conveyed through such shitty sound quality.
