@kyntandvyxsin I agree. I LOVE this movie, despite my concerns. These new transformers were never in any of the early G1 seasons, and they don't have much character development. I didn't feel bad for Ultra Magnus when he died, because I barely knew him. I like him, but I would have liked to see a movie about the original team and them fighting Unicron, and Ironhide taking on the burden as the leader of the autobots. Not that dumb ass Hot Rod. He wasn't horrible, but really? This is our hero?

i find soundwaves actions a little sad in these scenes. first megatron asks him not to leave him he obeys as always like th loyal soldier he's always been. Then starscrem wants to get rid of him then he agrees with starscream and watches the machine he's been loyal too for so long drift into space.

@brinpol No that´s not the real question at all dude. The real question is why space is blue and so small the jettisoned "weight" would find Unicron by chance or whatever. Why Astrotrain would whine about mass or weight is fucking irrelevant and Soundwave was always an uncrasimatic bore anyway. With a cool voice. The other thing I wonder about is how the constructicons would ever dare to call Devastator "The most Powerful robot" since he´s got a wtlr of about 0-100. But that´s just me man :)

bottom line Optimus Prime took out all the Decepticons including Megatron while the rest of the Autobots sat there and died. and the Autobots that did survive was the ones that ran and hid. Hot Rod a asshole for not minding his business! im pretty sue Opimus would have blown a hole in Megatron once he would"ve pulled that piece of shit gun. @aquelescaraaaaaaaaaa Indeed.. only thing I can say is when Optimus was in truck mode he was indestructible if you go back and look at all of the cartoons.. he gets blown off the side of cliffs, runs through walls, runs through cave ins you name it.. but he goes into robot mode and gets pwned.. When we first see optimus hes fresh/Cons are not, only thing i can think of.. where he battles megs and gets weakened like megs is and the gun can kill him? megs dies from falling when he can fly? Hey now, I love Optimus just like most, maybe more. But he gave Megatron too much of a chance to pick up that blaster too. So all the blame can't be put on Hot Rod; his intentions were noble. Optimus should've blasted Megatron quicker.

the stupidest thing they ever did in this movie was to make Hot Rod jump in like that.. You're trying to replace OP and you make his successor to be the key reason he was killed? Might as well had given Hot Rod the hand blaster and have him shoot Optimus in the back. I was in Elementary when the movie came out and every kid hated Hot Rod for that reason. The ones who liked Hot Rod/Rodimus was promptly beaten up during recess..

I went and saw this on I think it was my 5 or 6th birthday... and I 100% agree with you.. This movie might as well have put a bullet in transformers for good.. Instead of making Hot Rod some bad ass to take over for Prime they made him the killer of Prime. Plus they gave us Ultra Magnus, Kup, Blurr, Wheelie, and Arcee and Springer - BORING They really F'd up the marketing and story with this movie and we saw why transformers died out otherwise I am sure it could have lasted.
