  • 0:45 Actually, yes it does. If anybody gives a dead moose's last s*** about animals, THEY'LL STOP EATING THEM. By CONTINUING to eat them, you're giving the industries what they want, and they will continue operating till time ends.

One last word- 99% of all meat in the US comes from factory farms. DOES MISLABELING RING A BELL?

  • Very weak arguments. Eat all the meat you want. I don't gotta get my hands dirty to kill humans. The meat will do all the work for me. XD

  • "land being used to feed vegans" - that there is total bullshit, it takes more land and resources to feed meat eaters. Being vegan puts less strain on land and resources. Meat lovers are so annoying!

  • i'm not vegan, but those were weak arguments!

  • I checked out the source listed in the description... and yes VEGANS are 2.18 times more likely to die from stomach cancer, but the rest of the stats say that vegetarians, fish eaters, and occasional meat-eaters are all less likely to die from stomach cancer than meat-eaters. The study also shows that vegetarians and occasional meat-eaters are less likely to die from lung cancer than meat-eaters.

So the "eating meat is healthier" argument is VERY weak.

  • @JevonMusicGroup oh yeah, one more thing. Here's the risks of death from a heart attack for the average USA man:

    Meat eater: 50%

    Vegetarian: 15%

    Vegan: 4%

    :)

  • @UmbreonAndEspeon1 interesting! can you give your source please... i would love to look at it.

  • Also, on a different note, I would consider getting someone else to read this stuff for you. Your voice is objectively difficult to listen to, it sounds like you're swallowing your tongue. Read a bit a slower next time.

  • While you make many good points, I personally find it cynical to simply say "Well, you're going to wind up causing animal death anyway, so give up and who cares!"

Who cares about anything? We're all going to die anyway, so let's just commit suicide and get it over with.

I don't think there is anything wrong with trying to extend compassion to at least sentient things. Cows may not be able to recognize their own reflection, but would you be able to tear a cow's babies from her and not flinch?

  • So what about people who're vegan because they're selfish bastards and believe the diet makes sense to them? Yeah half dead animals make me shed a lone tear, but I'm not naive enough to believe any method of mass farming and cultivated foods doesn't come with death and destruction. It's unavoidable really.

  • I was not convinced.

  • Ohhh shitty argument...

  • What is the goal of telling people to keep on eating meat??

You are not helping anyone by doing this.

Allmost all the soy that is produced goes to the animals you eat, to produce this soy rainforests are being cut down, and human rights are bing neglected! Also because they cut down te rainforests climate change gets worse!

So vegetarians help animals AND HUMANS AND THE ENVIRONMENT, meat eaters are helping no one...

    Grtz!

  • 95% of SOYA is grown for ANIMAL FEED and i have to laugh at your science please please please show me the medical FACT where vegans are more likely to due of lung and heart disease. In fact there isn't a single fact in your video. Look it's simple, and i'll make it really simple for you. Picking on, hurting, causing suffering to and killing something weaker makes you not a very nice person.left Pigs out of the video what with them being in the top ten most intelligent animal on the planet.

  • Yeah right...

There is nothing wrong with Rascism, because we have plenty of white people starving on the streats...same logic, same unintelligence

  • oh dude u just talk by the official version of all... u did not see it with your own eyes!! but is ok in the web is all kind of info... but let me tell u they are fucking awere of this world!! they feel just like you and me.. but is ok if u eat, it is your body and your reality..

  • weak...

  • You are misinformed about everything you discussed I this video. Do some research before trying to prove your point against imaginary arguments.

  • my question is, why in the world are people (on both sides) SOOOOO ANGRY at something as trivial as the eating habits of others? do people really have nothing better to do than make hateful comments to people they don't know, simply because they eat different foods than you?

  • My goodness, there seems to be a lot of hostility on BOTH sides presented here. I'm slowly working towards becoming vegetarian. The DVD "Forks over Knives" has studies from former meat-eating Doctors(clinical & scientific) and their attacks FROM the AMA, FDA and other governmental & big business industries. I just wanna be trim & less prone to sickness. But I still read & listen to civil debate from both sides.

  • I don't want to be rude, but this really irritates me:

Vegetarian: Do not eat meat or fish (Sometimes some do still eat fish) However, they do eat/drink/use products PRODUCED by an animal.

Vegan: Do not eat meat, fish or anything produced by the animal. Some will go to the extremes of not using wool or eating honey.

I'm sick of being classed with the vegans -_-

  • @rosh0902 and about 999 of them are going to be because "were not killing animals"

  • @mewmewkeke i actually went to the hospital for eating a vegan diet.... i had low iron, riboflavin and an extreme defficiency of vitamin b -12

  • my best friend became a vegetarian 5 months ago..she is now hospitalized and still refuses to eat meat..thank you for making us meat eaters feel like killers. your just killing yourselves

  • You only develop health problems from eating meats high in fat and grease such as from a fast food place.get it from your local grocery store and it will be a lot better for you than that nasty crap from argentina.and in america meat slaughtering is done as humanely as possible so its not that bad because they are killing them when they are knocked out or stunned so its not like they're killing them while they are kicking and squirming.take an agriculture class and you will learn a lot more

  • @neal603 @neal603 While we take that ag class, drop by bio 101 and find out how your body was NEVER intended to digest meat of any kind. Your intestine (along with ALL herbivore's) is about 12x the length of your torso, while a true carnivore's is only 2-3x.

So, while undigested meat is expelled from true meat eaters, it's stuck in your colon rotting and burning out your immune system but stick your head in the sand cause it sounds like you've already made up your mind. Cheers.

  • @superque4 Actually it was you uneducated little shit. If you took evolution of biology you would know that the skull and teeth structures of humans have changed and adapted to how we eat. Our teeth used to be bigger and stronger to eat raw meat and when humans started to cook with fires etc bone structures changed and our teeth became smaller because cooked meat was easier to rip and chew. We were meant to eat meat. People don't digest properly because the clog themselves with fatty foods.

  • @superque4 How do you explain the presence of canine teeth in people then? All herbivores only have dull grinding molars. Science has also proven that meat/fish and our improved hunting skills allowed our species to survive the brutal ice age when we almost went extinct. Thus you may not have been here if man agreed to such a diet in ancient times. All have a role in this life; and true success is to honor the role responsibly.

  • @ELECTRICPORT Explanation simple: Canine teeth in humans and gorillas are for eating hard fruit like pears, apples etc. Besides, your (and ALL herbivores) intestinal tract is STILL 15x the length of your torso while ALL TRUE carnivore's are only 2-3x theirs. Explain that!

The reason is so that real carnivores can expel meat from their bodies LONG before it rots and causes bacteria/health problems like American meat eaters experience today but I'll wait for YOUR explanation.....

  • @superque4 My argument was ppl eating meat at all while you mention American meat diet. I am totally against meat industry's cruelty and use of chemicals and marbling agents. I suspect this is affecting health more than eating meat. FACT: The avg free roaming cow in England 1000 yrs ago had 3x protein per fat content. Now its other way round. Veg's hurt their cause when they make unreasonable emotional appeals and not scientific ones.

  • @ELECTRICPORT (Strike the word "American". My point referred to the health effects to ALL meat eaters worldwide.) Heart disease, cancer and diabetes rates grow exponentially in all countries when they move away from their indigenous plant based diets and adopt an meat based diet. Take China. Their death rate from these diseases is growing and will soon mirror America's as their diets steadily include more and more meat.

  • @superque4 Many indigenous ppl, like eskimos and tibetans are deeply spiritual ppl with a deep connection to nature and eat almost exclusively meat on account of where they live. Are they cruel ppl as well? Is Dalai Lama a cruel man? Attack the meat industry rather than a general means of survival and you will get more support!!

  • @ELECTRICPORT You got me all wrong. I don't give a fuck about animal safety. I'm vegan because I've spent countless hrs researching and have found that the cholesterol and acidity in meat and meat byproducts are poisonous to the human body. Don't get it twisted. I LOVE the taste of meat (BBQ especially) but I love ME more.

  • Only five reasons??? I can think of a thousand reasons to go VEG!

  • @antybu86 is an idiot for making and or posting this vid.its not about the animals self-awareness,or morality in that sense.it's more about common biological/physiological sense. where does cheese grow naturally(without mans asstnce)?y does a woman produce milk if we were designed to drink cows milk our WHOLE lives? how is it tht humans, the most "intelligent"beings on the planet, are dying from myriad diseases?far more than animals.could it be bcuz we eat so many different animals and GMO foods?

  • @AviatorMediaGroup13 he was pointing out VARIOUS reasons that vegans themselves use as defenses for why they don't eat meat. you're the idiot, he's not saying every vegan follows all 5 of those reasons, he's saying those are the 5 popular excuses. you're so fucking stupid.

  • You're so dumb it's truly scary

  • I have talked to two people that have worked in slaughter houses, they both said the animals (cows) knew what was happening and they did not want to move forward.

  • pufff, who cares for those tree hugers, go cannibals....

  • @highskyeagle

go cannibals? so you eat human flesh? Another dumb ass

  • You don't need to convince me. Pass me a slice of Meat Lovers Pizza. :-)

  • Reason 5 : Being a species-ist is absolutely not normal. It's especially people like you, saying that caring for human beings is more important than to care for animals, who are leading to a cruel world.

"As long as there are slaughterhouses, there are also battlefields." Léon Tolstoï. And if you think you're more intelligent than him... Then it explans everything...

  • Reason Three : Everyone kills animals unconsciously. The only difference is that those eating animals are fully aware of what they do. They can avoid it, and they don't, just for the pleasure of their palate..

Reason four : Most of vegetarians don't become vegetarien for healthy reasons... It has only be PROVED that vegetarien had better health conditions than those eating meat everyday...

  • Reason one : Try to slaughter a caw, and then tell me if you're still sure of what you say. (Fir information, cows are intelligent as well as pigs and chicken... It's just not the same intelligence as ours. Doesn't mean they are not.

Reason two : If you eat meat from intensive and industrial farms, You are in favor of it. If you buy all your meat at the local farmer and make sure animals are treated well, may be you're not for animal cruelty.

  • wow, I have to say you would think intelligent people whether vegan or carnivore could masked thirty point without being rude, condensing, insulting.

  • also of course meateaters die of heart disease. your heart is FULL OF FAT. ANIMAL FAT DUMBASs. cant walk, run, excercise long, gonna have arthritis osteoperosis which is all meateater diseases. if a vegan smokes pot they wont see cancer. the cancer they see is from GMO's and herbicides/pesticides which is STILL HUMAN MANIPULATED and not organic. if a vegan is organic grows their own like its meant to be youll be 100% and live over 100 yrs old why ur meateaters die of fat.

  • OBVIOUS this video is from a meateater. you can TELL from the low intelligence of this video! first and foremost if you eat meat just because you think of how the cow feels is the worse reason ever. the reason to be vegan is FOR YOUR HEALTH DUMBASS. watch "FOODS THAT KILL" on youtube. it will show you that diabetes, stroke, all diseases you have is from eating animal meat. So this has nothing to do with animals. Second if you care about animals you GROW YOUR OWN FOOD LOCALLY AND PICK IT BY HAND

  • 5 reasons not to become a vegan? do they include not having quadruple bypass surgery like bill clinton had for eating all that meat and enriched flour (donuts n shit food). . Reason 2: DONT BECOME VEGAN because how will DOCTORS AND DENTIST EVER MAKE MONEY? they dont make money off vegans because we are NEVER sick. doctors and dentist make money off dumbasses oh i mean omnivores wannabe meateaters although their teeth are herbivore.

  • Poor argument. Meat is killing people by the millions dorko!

  • i love meat i love tearing into that tender animal muscle i feel like a caveman and just tearing into strength iron and survival this world is cruel and i will be cruel with it

  • Great video!! F&^$ VEGANS!

  • @jestemgraczem Fuck vegans? Seriously?

  • So much ignorance......

  • @Penaloza805 of course. they are all meateaters. ignorance is a byproduct of being a meateater. Ever went to a steakhouse with cowboys and tried to have an intelligent conversation? haha. and then the way the animals are killed inhumanely and treated so harshly where do you think that spirit goes and all that pain? straight to the eater.

  • I always get these points and I've educated myself a lot on my choice, firstly because living my life as Cruelty-Free as possible is something that feels right by my instincts and 'gut', and secondly because I don't want to be a stammering idiot when people confront me with very legitimate points against my choices. I spend a lot of time TALKING with intelligent Omnivores about their choices and it's helped me to reaffirm mine in an intelligent way by looking at things from all accounts.

  • @FeralChildBuff This is something I think you should have done before making this video as these issues are things that are ALWAYS brought up and my counter-points have already been said but one thing that needs to be said is "If you can't do EVRYTHING doesn't mean you should not do ANYTHING", Living Cruelty-Free is impossible in a modern world but that in no way should permit you to continue doing things you know are cruel if you have no choice

  • @FeralChildBuff If you believe Animals aren't "aware" of the pain they feel, it's still wrong to inflict pain onto them because it says more about who you are than what you believe animals are or how you feel they perceive life.

  • I hope the individual that made this is a shill for meat/dairy industry. That would be horrible to go through life being that stupid

  • self-awareness test?? what about humans born with mental illnesses? are we supposed to breed and slaughter them for consumption too?

  • @86MrsBrown no, we are supposed to kill them so we can only breed the best of the human species. duh! Morality is a human invention.

  • @rocktoohardcore More likely thing is that most of the disabled(not just mentally) wouldn't survive long enough and only required being killed when their instability caused them to attack other humans if they did live to reach maturity. (Morality. I think some form of it exists in every social species. My own opinion. Obviously, not the same kind, but then again what is deemed moral is even redefined among the various human societies.)

  • @abcdefwoo1234 I would agree with that if I weren't programmed with morality. The damnest of society...

  • @rocktoohardcore So if you were to have a beautiful but brain damaged child you could kill it? that is a horrible thing to say... and last i looked if we are supposedly breeding the best of the human species what about all those fatties that live on cholesterol?? If "the best of the human species" was important far more people would be vegan

  • @86MrsBrown I was being facetious

  • This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

  • :o do i count? I am leaning more to a vegan diet but..i eat fish?

  • oh so they don't pass the self-awareness test so they are not worthy to be alive? But I am sure they pass the pain test....

  • Vegans tend to be healthier. Life span and quality of life are two different things. Don't confuse them. Vegans don't live longer but tend to live with less pain and debilitating diseases. Arthritis, gallstones, Alzheimer's, osteoporosis, heart disease, diabetes, pancreatitis, kidney disease, auto immune diseases, cancer of the breast, pancreas and prostate are ALL more common for meat eaters. And all you got is stomach cancer? Talk about spinning the facts to distort reality. Deal with REALITY!

  • I used to believe the bullshit this guy is trying to pass off as reasons to continue the mass murder of lower animals until I watched Earthlings. It changed me and my son who was a big meat eater watched it and it change him too. We are both vegans now. I don't judge others' motives or question their morality for eating meat but it's bullshit to not be honest about what it is: murdering a lower animal to eat its flesh when we simply don't have to for survival. That's simply what it is. Period.

  • #4 Some people cannot be veg, but others can. This isn't a reason to not be vegan, but a reason to be aware that it can have an impact on your health. Just because veganism doesn't work for one person, doesn't mean it won't work for others. Likewise, vegans shouldn't be preachy toward ex vegans who gave up due to health reasons or allergies.

#5 I like to think that people, regardless of what they eat, do their part to aid humanity...

You should really rename this "reasons to not be preachy".

  • #1: Animals that do not pass self-awareness tests can still be capable of experiencing fear and pain, even if they are lacking more complex emotions.

#2 Eating meat does not make you cruel, but more cruelty exists than people realise. Battery farming hens, for example, is still a common practice.

#3 Very correct. There is a (small) movement to eradicate ploughing, not just for animals but also to improve soil quality. But still a lot of hypocrisy, particularly from vegans who wear leather.

  • Animals have a right of freedom to roam with sunlight, food and water and not to be confined in appalling conditions pumped with anti-biotics, growth hormones and fed with fattening GM food for selfish human appetites.

If you want to eat meat, go and hunt for it.

  • Great video! I agree with most of what you say, plus if WE don't kill animals, THEY still will kill each other, it's just the way the nature intended ! Having said that, I'm strictly against animal cruelty and killing them for fur, foi gras etc...

  • Of course there's everything wrong with being a species-ist. And, just because they don't pass the self awareness test doesn't mean they should be electrocuted up their behind, have they're beaks cut off, hung upside down by their ankles, dumped into boiling hot water still conscious, suffocated, etc. We're living the way we want to. Don't criticize me, I never criticize meat eaters..

  • being vegan does help human rights. we spend so much money toward the meat industry and use up so much land for ONLY livestock and the feed we give livestock. we could feed a whole country of starving people with what we feed to the over populated livestock that we created. dont even get me started on all the water wasted to feed and produce and maintain livestock. its anywhere between 3-15 times more wasted water than used to make soy and farm vegetables. many countries lack clean water

  • Yes, strict animal regulation, that allow the anal electrocution of animals in fur farms

  • Comment removed

  • finally some common sense among the hundreds of stupid vegetarian conversion videos

  • Hello -- yes, everyone is entitled to an opinion, for sure, free country and all of that -- totally agree. The thing is, the information he's presenting isn't presented as opinion, but as fact. As far as getting laid in college...well, that's a whole different story. ha :) Ones path to veganism, or any other choice for that matter is in fact a personal matter. Good on you for reducing meat consumption, cheers. I think the key is being an independent thinker, as you're eluding to.

  • Ha! WHAT??? This is the biggest load of shite I've heard in a longtime. Complete rubbish. There is not one valid point made. This is the kind of idiotic reasoning and thinking that hinders humans from making real progress. You've failed miserably here, my friend. Awful, just awful.

  • I'll just point out another flaw in this argument. The #4 statement that vegans are more likely to develop stomach cancer is false. I opened your link to the data and this might be hard for you to comprehend but because the confidence interval for the RR was 0.4 to 11.2 it means that finding was not significant and therefore cannot be stated as true. Same thing for lung cancer: the CI was 0.39 to 20 therefore it's not relevant. Stop spreading false stats

  • Your an idiot with false scientific statements. YOu find one study saying there is higher incidence of stomach cancer and believe it wheras there are many more stating the opposite. If a vegan eats real foods such as raw fruits and veg, some nuts seeds and so forth then they are less likely than a meat eater to get stomach cancer and many cancers of the stomach have actually gone after the change. Look up the China Study "Meat and dairy cause cancer". animal abuse is worse than it ever was.

  • you are a sick person, a sick person! are you for real ? if people hurd animal you should lock them up but at the same time you say livestock farming is good ? there is no place on earth were there hurt so many animals than livestock farming.. i'm not a vegetarian but i only buy meat from animals who have lived at a farm were they can walk outside a few hours a day and were they were treath like animals instead of products. serieusly, you are sick!

  • wut,,the...fu* stumac cancer and lung....dude WTF ARE YOU SAYING....FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • Sure, nothing cruel about slaughterhouses. If you want to bury your head in the sand, that's your life choice but it isn't a very lofty one.

  • You know antybu, there is a pretty good chance this video didn´t get hit by a votebot, meaby you just got bad ratings.

  • Consumer!

  • i am sure you would not pass the test either.

  • Why the fuck are you so concerned about what people put in their mouth? And try to justify killing annimals, humanly or not? If vegans get sick it's most probebly because they're not choosing organic food, and the health pyramid shows you allready that veggies and fruit is healthier, and better for your health as studies show. Whereass eating meat has no health bennefits quite the contrary.

  • LOL this video is hilarious. since this guy is inferior to me, I'm going to kill him and eat him now. Fucking moron

  • I recommend everyone to watch the movie "Forks over knives" , & "Fat, Sick & nearly dead" . I cured myself from obesity and Hypertension by switching to a "plant based diet", I feel great!

  • This is the most ridiculous video. waste of time.

  • Just because they don't realize they're looking in a mirror or don't show emotion doesn't mean they don't feel PAIN or fear. Ass.

  • this is ignorant. fuck u.

  • You are an idiot plain and simple. The argument that plowing fields kills mice etc so therefor vegans are guilty is idiotic. Even if we are evil for that misdeed, please know that to produce your precious meat millions more creatures die so crops can be grown to feed your cows. You are so misguided its laughable except for the horrors you have chosen to perpetuate.

  • @southtampaphoto If they are growing those fields specifically for your vegan food then yeah according to Logic from people like PETA you are just as guilty. Then again he never said you couldn't become a vegan just his five reasons not to be. As in his opinion which he is allowed to have.

I am not a vegan and I never will be I like the taste of meat. I do agree animal cruelty should be stopped but that does not end with the end of meat eating. Now am I saying you cant be, no.

  • @southtampaphoto actually he made a perfect argument. you're a moron and I hope you die from malnutrition

  • I eat meat. But I gotta say, reason #1 is bullshit. Lack of self-awareness doesn't mean lack of capacity to feel pain.

  • @gmx1100 he didn't say anything about pain. he said emotions. does a chicken feel self righteous? proud? or self doubt?

  • we use the fields to plant all that weat and more of that stuff...for what? so the cows eat it..so them we eat the cow....if we coud use those fields to feed people...there will no be hunger in the world...you need to be more imformate before you talk about this stuff so freely as you are doing it...do me a favor and read a litle...

  • @chinita4gor Hundreds upon hundreds of tons of food goes rotten in 'starving' countries because of the governments refusing to give out the food. As the world is now, we have plenty of food to go around, just governments that want their people weak and hungry. Not to mention the food the government makes farms burn, or milk they dump out, all to stabalize market value. While we could produce more, we would not effect world hunger.

  • Last one wan't really a reason - if we decreased our meat intake 50% we could feed all the hungry people in the world with resources that are not wasted to grow animals - veganism is good for people. Though I didn't know about lung cancer statistics, thank you. And what you said about fields where our food is raised, again, right you are, it is pretty ugly how much they use pesticides there, but if I already do damage nature and animals why should I want to do it even more by also eating meat?

  • "Self awareness" is just a fancy term to trick you into thinking that other animals don't care. While their level of "self awareness" is debatable, the truth is that they find pain extremely unpleasant. The reason horses run faster when whipped is because they it hurts them so they want to get away.

eating meat may not make you "for animal cruelty," but you are certainly supporting the cause by doing so. there have many RECENT articles published on the subject.

  • Comment removed

  • Ok dude..Killing mice...hahaaha u sound gayier then any vegan out their!!!

  • @gerardo3363 What an intelligent and insightful response! 'Gayier' 'then' a vegan out 'their'. Well done!

  • "Humane procedures for killing livestock"!? Are you fucking kidding me? Humane!? Let me rip out your balls without any anesthesia, and shove you in a cage so small, you can't stand up all the way. Then let me pump you with awful hormones to the point where you are five times your natural size and you have an arm growing out of your ass.

  • How misinformed can one be?

    How unethical can one be?

Exploiting the life of another creature just for your own 20 minutes of gluttony? We don't need meet. We share this plant. We do not own this Earth. By eating meat, you support a worse, larger cause than the holocaust. Since going vegan, I haven't had a single health problem, (not even a common cold during this very bad cold season) I haven't lost any weight, I have more energy, I need less sleep, etc. etc.

  • LOL @ all the angry vegan responses.

  • @Reggie757 Ha, yeah. However, you have to admit it's justified. This guy isn't making any valid points or arguments.

  • Yeah I liked ummh I want a grill cheese burger noe thanks broo

  • holy smokes, man - most agri-food animals suffer tremendous hellish cruelty their whole lives as well as slaughter time. WTF is the claim about these "lwas" in the USA and CAN that prevent this? ha! Man, you must believe in the tooth fairy and Santa Claus too

  • this is probably the stupidest video I've ever watched in my life.

  • @TheTrish2985 I agree...this idiot must own a pig farm....

  • How do you know most animals are not self aware? Did you ask them? I don't know if you're self aware. Does that mean I can eat you? Better yet, why don't you eat me.:(

  • you are possible the most unintellectual person Ive ever heard...........do the world a favor and walk into oncoming traffic

  • 1. There are people who would not pass this test. You'd eat them?

    2. Living in captivity and being killed just don't count?

    3. WOW! It's like "atheists do bad things too, so it's OK to do religious genocide" argument - same logical "strength"!...

    4 Even bigger WOW!!...

    5. WOOOOOW!!!

This was Creationist level of stupidity!

I used to like your videos...

  • set the discussion on the pass or fail the SA test by animals is likely to bring you on a very bad road ...

  • And what do you mean by there's nothing wrong with been a speciesist? simply because human rights are been exploited doesn't justify exploiting animal rights, how could it? that's like saying racism is a bigger problem therefore go fix that and I'll be a sexist cause racism is a bigger problem, and that makes no sense.

What do you mean there's nothing wrong with been a speciesist? on what basis? speciesism is discriminating against other species, so why? what is it that makes it okay?

  • Also if you agree we vegans are responsible for the deaths of those animals killed in fruit & veg harvesting you must conclude you are responsible for the deaths of those animals killed in factory farming and if you think that us eating fruit & veg is wrong as you are clearly stating you must agree that what you are doing is immoral therefore you've just admitted that eating meat is immoral in your own attempt to back it up, I respect opinions but these opinions in society are leading to deaths

  • The first two points I agree with nevertheless its not a justification for the slaughter of billions of animals per annum so people can have a tastier dinner and onto your third option yes that is true but nobody is perfect, I am only eating vegetables, fruits, exc. as I need to in order to survive and the damage caused by the harvesting of fruits & vegetables is many magnitudes less the damage caused by factory farming.

  • He's entitled to his opinion. If vegans don't want omnivores to complain on their videos, then they shouldn't complain on an omnivore's video. Treat others the way you want to be treated. You know, that lesson from pre-school?

  • @renoloverxoxo I somewhat agree with you, re: these comments. However, the problem here is that the information and 'facts' he's presenting are rubbish. He's voicing information that is nonsense.

  • @danielclarson72 And he's entitled to his opinion. I may not agree with him, but he's got a right to say what he wants.

On that note, a vegan lifestyle is a personal choice that should come from thorough research and soul searching instead of just being a phase you go through in order to get laid in college. And I'm not being a douche by saying it, I really know people that shallow. I personally am reducing my meat intake because I love animals, not because PETA says to.

  • Sorry you have competly missed the point of being a vegetarian, and what vegetarians hope to aspire to. You clearly have NOT looked into it enough.

You are right , the human species will always kill other species , even if we inadvertently step on a mouse, or plough fields. You miss the point again. ITs about the inhumane mass farming of poulty, beef, which leads to a lifetimes of suffering for those animals. This has nothing to do killing mice and birds when ploughing a field.

  • go have sme life, we have better things to do with our life,

    very stupid in did !!!!

  • fuck

  • Herbalife + vegan diet = super healthy. Eat meat every once in a while.

  • go have a heart attack

  • Because they are not self-aware? Mister, nobody would say you're not self-aware just because you can't recognize the smell of your own sweat. Same for animals, who in many cases do not rely on their eyes and define themselves by other aspects than looks.

  • all farm raised animals and fish are eating commercial feeds that are full of CHEMICALS... that's why meat are not good for health~

Even vegetables that are expose to Chemicals like fertilizers and pesticides are not good for health...

  • vegi people do realize that humans are omnivores right XD

  • @TheDailyFart We ARE herbivores lol. Human teeth aren't even capable of tearing into flesh like an omnivore's can. We don't have claws, we don't have fangs, and we can't eat decaying carcasses on the side road like omnivores are built to do.

Some Hippos are known to ocassionally eat meat, but do you honestly think they'd be healthy if that's all they ate?

  • @R0b0mammal That's a lie that has been sent around. Look at a Chimp's teeth, they are Omnivores and their teeth are like ours. They arn't FRUIT teeth, they eat meat. They don't have claws, they don't have 'fangs'. Not to mention you have to watch what you eat as a vegitarian and plan your meals at least to a point to make sure you get your proteins. You really think that primative man eating what was availible would know what to eat enough not to be deficient.

  • I find that people who's argument is "well we've always been eating meat" don't seem to understand that it's not about what we've been doing, it's about progress. And by the way, people have NOT been eating meat since the dawn of time; human beings are built as herbivores. We have the digestive system of an herbivore. We can't live off raw meat. And even if we could, I would refuse it. I refuse the systematic torture and murder of sentient, feeling, living beings. It's evil. It's heartless.

  • Vegans are stupid

  • #5 makes zero sense. People are usually pretty good at multitasking. Many caring people focus on more than one issue of importance to them. I mean, just in your videos at the top of the screen, I can see that you care about Holocaust denial, reproductive rights, secularism, and libertarianism. I would never tell you not to talk about Holocaust denial just because Somali kids are starving.

Besides, how does buying fries instead of a burger prevent me from speaking up about human rights?

  • watch?v=4O46T7GyE4Y&feature=related

  • Oh, you're so smart.I like how you used facts in your video to back your claims.:P Sarcasm is being used in case you're too mentally handicapped to understand.

  • Jusr let vegans be vegans and vegetarians be vegetarians!! My god!

  • Ok good luck eating your meat once there all dead.

  • Just let us be.

  • This vid was almost as bad as Christians saying there is a god but Horus isn't real. Very weak arguments with a couple of no shit sherlock points.

  • @aldojr86 We beleave what we want to beleave :,( im a cchristian.

  • Animal abuse is not a great excuse for being Vegan. Extending moral consideration to animals only is inconsistent because it excludes other organisms.

  • our precious food? isn't that YOUR food too? are we in the wrong for eating plants...?

  • Me, I was OK with the herbicides, pesticides, growth hormones, antibiotics and artificial coloring. When I found out food animals are fed excrement on a daily basis though, it was a deal breaker. This kid sure sounds satisfied with his iron-clad reasoning, but seems not to care (or know) what he eats. Not too swift, I would say.

  • so we should eat meat becuase; cows and chickens are stupid, it is not cruel, vegans kill, anything i do will kill, some cases its not healthy and there are humans starving.

you make a very valid argument...

i am not vegan, but i am vegetarian. i don't eat meat because i just feel guilty eating it. my friends eat meat around me and it doesn't bother me. just because i don't eat meat does not mean i value animals above humans and don't care that they are starving. i just don't want to eat meat.

  • yes, even vegans kill animals. to get our plants, animals will die. Cows eat a lot of these plants, and then people eat them. Why not cut out the middle man. Being vegan for me is about reducing the amount of animals die because of me. Being vegan can be a healthy choice, or unhealthy. just like being and omnivore can be healthy or not. Just depends on what you eat. And for 5, that's based on opinion. But I can still care about animals, while also caring about human rights. which I do.

  • Let me guess, you wanted to go vegan but couldn't do it so tried to think of reasons to justify your meat eating? Just because some animals don't pass the SA tests means nothing. some babies don't either. I have pet chickens... they have emotions. There are no laws, or, hardly any laws protecting animals farmed for food. Most meat is factory farmed and animals are treated like shit. Depends where you get your meat from. (cont)

  • @KateBattams THE VEGAN MYTH-watch?v=rNON5iNf07o

Yes, laws need to change, however Humans (over Million s of years of Evolution)--were intended to EAT MEAT---we have meat eating "canines". Your brain consumes 25% of your energy consumption. You simply cannot get all you need from berries and rice. Yes, avoid McDonald's at all cost, but you *NEED MEAT* to survive/THRIVE as a healthy human being.

  • @Daikokuten777 Berries and rice? Why would you assume that's all vegans eat? lol. Humans do not NEED meat to survive/thrive. We also don't have canines for eating meat. most people would not be able to go out and kill and eat a cow with just their hands and teeth. try it if you want. We have flatter teeth, with two sharper teeth for piercing fruit etc, long intestines, and eating raw meat is dangerous for us. Naturally humans are herbivores, and shouldn't be eating the amount of meat most do.

  • @KateBattams Just because you have it as a pet, doesn't mean it has an emotions or anything else. I could get some insect like butterfly for example and have it as my pet, and that means it has an emotions? Also lot of people have plants in their homes (flowers etc.) and they care for them, water them etc. And then when flower "die", they feel a bit sad. Almost like that plant is their "pet". So does that mean that eating plants is bad?

  • @DoubleM55 Humans aren't the only animal with emotions. As much as you might deny it, my chickens do have emotions. All animals do. Plants don't have central nervous systems, so no eating plants is not bad. But hey, I never even said eating a cow is bad, but the way a lot of them are raise is. I'll admit, my chickens don't have as much emotion as my dogs, the cows next door, or me. But they feel pain, they recognize over a hundred faces, and still have emotion, even if it's not as much as us.

  • @KateBattams Also, you can't compare baby to animals, because we know that baby will grow up in healthy, smart and intelligent being, even if that baby is born with some "problems"(down syndrome, etc), It will be much more intelligent than all the cows and pigs on earth together. Like he said, most animals is not even aware of itself. I know that you may love your pet, and you personalize it, and think that its smart, but in reality, it's just stupid animal that only eats and shits.

  • Not all babies grow up healthy, smart and intelligent. Some are just 'vegetables' their whole life. (not saying that they are any less human or anything, I still have respect for them). My dogs do more then eat and shit. They do have a personality, as do cows, chickens, sheep, pigs and 3 year olds. (pigs have the intelligence of a 3 year old child). I grew up in a rural area, so I know that our food animals aren't stupid. Also, don't be calling other animals stupid if you type as you just did ;)

  • @KateBattams I grew up on a farm. While pigs are intelligent. (More intelligent than dogs by many accounts) Chickens and cows are just not. They are happy if all their needs are met. Now that doesn't mean they wouldn't get depressed if their needs arn't met, but as longa s they are they are happy, very simple creatures.

  • @pcgamernum1 I beg to differ about cows, as while I haven't lived on a farm, I live next door to a beef farm and have spent a lot of time with cows in my life. They might not be as intelligent as pigs, but I do think there's more there then people give them credit for. The can be very intelligent in some ways. They can be trained just like dogs to. Though I agree, all the cows I have met are happy enough with room to graze (and grass to graze on)

  • @KateBattams That doesn't factor in that those same cows, with grass to graze on and some room would be treated far worse in the wild. They'd be chased and scared often, and hurt with no one to look after them, and get more sicknesses. Now, I understand milk cows are usually treated like trash, and I regret that, it would not be the case WHEN i own some land and some cows. They'll not be machine milked, just milked as needed. And of course pigs should be treated much better.

  • @KateBattams And the most stupid thing about all of this "Vegan" shit that really ticks me off, is that you are so much concerned about animal, yet you don't give a fuck about people. Millions of young, beautiful, smart children are dying of hunger and diseases, yet you are talking about some dumb fucking cows? And that is very stupid.

  • @DoubleM55 that's hypocritical of you, as you're just commenting on youtube instead of helping people. Just because I care about other animals, doesn't mean I don't care about humans. I think it's horrible what millions of children have to go through. Thankfully, I can do as much as I can to help them, while also caring about animals. I wish I could do more, but I can't right now.

  • This guy is an IDIOT!

  • @cycmpdf - you are disgusting! Just sayin

  • What a worthless collection of pointless arguments. I'm really sorry somebody messed with your brain.

  • Are you fucking kidding me? Ignorant.

  • no matter of self awareness, they STILL SUFFER
