@billysue2 not really i know he used to do ITF but WTF is better that is why the olympics recognized them as the taekwondo body instead of ITF and chose it to be in the olympics ahead of martial arts like karate and kungfu
@westhamboy95 wtf is supported by the south korean government and is more popular,thats why its in the olympics for now.Every real fighter thinks its a joke and is incredibly boring to watch.Sanshou is the combat sport that should be olympic
@billysue2 yeh that why no 1 herd of it plus loads of governments get behind sports to be in olympics and south korea arnt that important cos north korea do it aswell. i wached a vid of sanshou its sick but it wuld never be in the olympics cos its like boxing and judo put together so they wuld have to get rid of them 2 which wuld NEVER happen cos its too much effort. plus if you think its a joke look up aaron cook v steven lopez you wont see that in any other sport
@westhamboy95 the south is very westernised and wealthy compared to the north which is an outcast in world relations due to its communist regime.Sanshou is a mixture of wrestling and kickboxing but no groundwork is allowed.WTF tkd is a game of tag with kicks,it has no realistic component.
@billysue2 i see what you mean but it better than ITF coz that is light contact the only reason it look like that is cos of the protective gear. yh i know the differences between the koreas but thats not the reason the IOC put it in the olympics true south korea made it a demonstration event in seoul but it took bout 20 years before it got put in. sanshou wont be in it becaus they will never get rid of boxing/wrestling/judo. did u wach that fight i sed?
@westhamboy95 itf is light contact according to the rules but often full in practise depending on the ref and its the use of the hands that make it more realistic(its still poor by the way).I agree that no more martial arts will be allowed in the games but wtf should be thrown out its that pathetic.I watched the fight,very high standard of kicking but thoroughly ineffective in terms of combat.
@billysue2 well if he did those kicks in another sport they wuld get gassed because it so fast plus i think they are planning to get rid of it after 2014
@westhamboy95 wtf isnt a martial art its practised as a sport the vast majority of the time.The reasn its so popular is that its so easy to get grades in and is fun ,not because its worth a fuck which it isnt

@westhamboy95 the WTF is both an organisation and a type of tkd,same with chois Itf,patterns are completely different,different focus,basics are different and sparring is entirely different.I got a black belt in 3 yrs and could have been quicker,thats a joke ,had I not lost faith in the art id be a 7th dan now,id have no doubt achieved that if I kissed enough ass but I wouldnt and couldnt do that to seniors that were physically useless and terrible coaches.
Aaron cook kicks butt.....His training base, Sport city, National HQ, Manchester. A real contender for medals in 2012, err any competitions. A true champion, so lets have more coverage on TV !.....I admire all Taekwondo fighters, so proud of all U guys & girls :o)
