I once lived in this dump in the middle of nowhere. I am amazed at how resilient the people still are. They are all having a great time in the pouring rain---- and this is the event of the year!!!! Horrors-------!!! The artisty and creativity of the "floats" boggles the mind. The pipe band is fine but only half of them showed up! I was going to go back for the Gala Day but I think I will give it a miss.
