hi airpita, i see that on you tube that every has got the Vance & Hines Shorties, but i see that somebody has got the bassani, FREEDOM PERFORMANCE EXHAUST with HOT ROD SOUND and the owner said that sounds bettere than the shorties and any other pipes for the forty eight.In your opinion which are the best pipes for this bike? thanks for the attention, bye :)
@p8rdm Its really easy easy to put on yourself...You do have to dig for the turn signal connectors though they were underneath the main wiring connectors under the seat. Very Easy Install.
Did you have to put a tune on it, or are you running it with the factory tune. Sounds wicked. How is it on long rides?

@Krashdavus I am actually using a Cobra Fi2000 Power Pro AutoTuner.
On long ride you will hear more wind than exhaust. This exhaust is well worth the money listen to some of my other videos they have better sound.

In my opinion the best exhaust for the 48 is the one that YOU like the most. I saw the Bassani Firesweeps and it was the exhaust for me.

@philly624 I would say so...my first bike was a 1300 and it was great. The 48 is small and very nimble, its overall a very well balanced bike.
