There is like two guitars in this song,I'm not sure if all the Beatles are playing in this song.It sure sounds like John and George are playing the Guitars! I dig this longer version,It sound just a little better then the other ones!
Nahhh, this one just doesn't move me. It's flat. Yes, it's got George written all over it, but does it really add anything to the album? I think they picked right. But as I've said before...it's all in the eye of the beholder. Well, now that I'm hearing the instrumental back-portion of the song...with Paul getting heavy with that bass...I'm beginning to dig it. Yeah, that's what it needed. A little heaviness. Hmmm.
@k0stil Really! I think the same thing happened with Ob La Di Ob La Da. Paul kept trying to refine the song and they recorded it over and over until Ringo snapped and walked out. I never really liked that song. I would have preferred Not Guilty, or perhaps they encourged George to complete Something (auditioned to an aide I believe late in WA sessions) and included that. Not Guilty would have fit the WA perfectly. Quirky, rock tinged music that was all over the place stylistically.
@LeThereBeatles4ever This is the late, great George Harrison circa summer '68. Not Guilty was not included on the late '68 double LP The Beatles (the White Album). I really have not heard why the song was not included. It is as worthy as just about any of the other LP tracks (and vastly superior to John's Revolution 9/Bungalo Bill & Paul's Wild Honey Pie). But inlcuding it would have given George 5 songs, & we just couldn't of had that now could we? Their last 3 LPs should have had more GH songs
@redletter2008 ...And if the other two had given G.H. more room who knows how their history would've shaped thereafter. Part of the squabble was G.H.'s bitterness & feeling of restraint. This song should've been on somewhere it's fantastic.
@amalialovesicecream As popular as the Beatles are, they (IMO) could be more popular had they given George a larger role as songwriter in the later years (66-70). Harrison had some superb songs. Given the success of some of these song when released by GH as a solo artist, they were appealing to fans. I think Paul didn't judge all of GH's songs on their merits. IMO, he looked to songs that "fit" his project or were mostly inferior to his own. Something changed everything.

This was a jam. Warming up stuff like the tuning before a symphony concert. Interesting but not product.

@redletter2008
well, i think george himself wasn't fond of the song.
or else he would have recorded it for his first solo album, and didn't wait so long.
