Oakland years ago was a beautiful place until, we allowed liquor stores and gun shops to come into the community @ AT EVERY CORNER. Do you think this happen over night? Go to Detroit,Chicago New Orleans,Philadephia,New York, Boston, St Louis, Atlanta,..and you will find peace-loving, lawabiding, respectful Black folk. Go to Washington,DC,and you are met at every corner by a nice Black man ready to help you out. It's those evil White folk who put liquor stores on every corner that is to blame. Yes, get the church and community to come together to stop the violence..like they've never tried that before. How many church get togethers, marches, programs,$, have we seen through the decades fail to stop these brothas from acting like animals? Generation after generation of brothas doing the same thing over and over again...the same stupid thing. It's time for a different solution. These brothas don't need more church love, they need some tough love.These brothas are laughing at the church!
