A little advice for Joe Hockey. When Heavy Kevy pulls that knife out & shoves it back into Gillard's back, don't do that Sunrise gig again. Rudd just showed you up mate & one can imagine your old pals act had Muppet voters thinking you were singing from the same hymnbook ! Not a good look mate. This video could have been made for Sunrise.
I just woke up this morning with this song in my head that i swore i have never heard since the 80's...iam only 27 so i was kid back then but it these sub conscious memories have been coming back to me over the years. My mother was big on music so iam sure she had something to do with it lol.

fucking finally someone reposted this song. i couldnt find an original version anywhere on da web. securitydude717 ur da man. this song is fucking amazing
Yeah, Madonna played drums in his earlier band called Emmy. She coveted his lead vox spot a little too much and lead to her departure. Tight band. You can definitely hear where she got her sound.

I like the dance steps of the singer very upbeat!! amazing song to remember the old days!! This group is so unique & different with their style of sing & rythm!! Just perfect song to hang with!!
This is a great song! I'm pretty sure Stephen Bray was the drummer. Someone probably wrote somewhere (incorrectly) that Madonna was the dummer for this band & it's been repeated ever since. She was a dancer when she & Stepehn came to NY. He was a drummer (and a friend of mine). She did vocals with the B. Club for awhile (not sure if she did lead or backups). Then Stephen wrote and produced her first hit, which she took credit for. It was settled in court ;-) & they kept working together.
So, this is the band that Madonna once played drums for back in the day; I wonder how good of a drummer she was. We'd like to see her behind a drum kit so she could show us her skills. At any rate, Nice tune. Late.
Great rythym skate song from back in the day. If you lived in Phoenix in the eighties you probably skated to this @ Skateland Mesa or danced to it at Devil House.
For some reason this song popped into my head so I thought I'd head here to look for it. Glad to see it's posted (thank you) because this used to be one of my favorite songs. I had no idea N'Dea Davenport was in the video - learn something new every day :).

The drummer is Stephen Bray, who co-wrote many of Madonna's early hits, including Express Yourself, True Blue, Into the Groove, Angel, etc ;)

Kids Incorporated did a nice cover of this and it was made in the 80s so you know its not a crappy recent cover.

He says it best at the 3:43 mark of the song. There must be some kind of bad connection because the music does not sound the way it did. .
