Pakistan govt need some urgent steps to promote alternative ways to generate electricity such as wind or solar systems. Should give subsidies/rebate to those who want to import this technology. On top of that they should introduce 2 way electric meter which one can use to provide electricity to main grid. Please search web for more info on this topic...
I know for a fact that WTU does not pay for any surplus energy you create. They told me the government has not made them compensate for our surplus as of yet and as of now they are still developing their policies regarding net metering and had no more to say about it.
These wind turbines are getting installed on advertisement boards to give electricity. Government has banned to provide electricity to advertisement boards due to shortage. This is an alternative option.
Not sure why they installed it on advertisement board. Looks like this is installed in city weird. Normally wind terbines are installed in open places.
