What impressed me the most in this was how slick the film was, the story moves at a fast pace while still managing to conclude all the sub-plots! You got to see this!

i saw black swan at home and i went to the cinema just for the expirience, and they cut ther movie. the scene after she danced the black swan she returns to her room and lilly knocks and says what she has to say and suddenly nina holds a piece of glass in her hand. there was no part when she goes to the bathroom and realising what she did. did it happen to any of you, or should i blame it on the cinema i was in?

The only way the white swan can defeat the black swan is not by beating her, but by synthesizing both the control of dancing and also recklessness that culminates to an amazing maneuver. Just replace dancer with skater, and white swan with Jimmy and black swan with Chaz and you have Blades of Glory.
Why don't you read the wiki on this film to see where the director really got their ideas and inspiration. Blades of Glory isn't any part of it. Just because the stories have similar ideas doesn't make it plaigarism.

@mrshackztor Oh come one. One dancer who is considered innocent and pure vs. a more dark dancer. The only way the white swan can defeat the black swan is not by beating her, but by synthesizing both the control of dancing and also recklessness that culminates to an amazing maneuver. Just replace dancer with skater, and white swan with Jimmy and black swan with Chaz and you have Blades of Glory.
