If Williams is overatted then why has he scored brilliant tries against southern hemisphere teams as well as exposed their backlines with his runs? there were players down here in the southern hemisphere with much higher try scoring records.. and they didnt have the opportunity to get easy tries against easy teams. dont get me wrong, williams is a pretty good player.. especially for his size.. but he didnt deserve player of the year. it was clearly political. some of the best players such as richie mccaw werent even on the nominees list.
