I just watched the full series, episodes 1-27, over 9 hours, almost totally straight, if you count bathroom breaks and food in accountance. I cannot describe the level of amazingness that this show has made and it has inspired me on a whole nother level. This shows amazingness has topped my favorite show 1 piece, almost 2 times over. I cannot describe the level of cool that this show has, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HEAVEN PIERCING HIGHLY reccomend it. It is on Hulu for free, PLEASE check it out.

I still think that this anime was good, I really enjoyed it until the 7 year time gap. And the funimation dub of one piece didn't add any random parts into it....and the main story of bleach is actually clear within the 1st-2nd arc. =/

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is by far one of the best, it shows everything that is meant to be in an anime. Personally I like One Piece and Full Metal Alchemist as much as I love TTGL. Just my opinion.

@crazycow10 One Piece is basically IMHO what anime is suppose to be. It has Action, Plot, Character Development, and Comedy. A lot of folks don't care for OP because of its unique art style. But I find it refreshing. If you do pick it up the Dub by Viz is great, Kaizoku Fansubs is the way to go for Sub. If you want to see what OP is about check out the AMVs "This is One Piece"*, Many Lemon's "Sail On" and "Reason to Smile" by Otaku Lounge (*Has spoilers)

@larrylansday dude OP anime is WAY too long there are almost as many episodes as chapters meaning there's A TON OF FILLER (not as much as bleach but as bad as naruto (yes that bad)). on top of that you even mentioned the dub, which is no where as good as the original (even the uncut funimation dub).

It seemed really cheap and corny at first, and was starting to look like every other anime series. But god damnit, there were those just epic moments, like the gathering of all the stolen gunmen against the spiral king. And there were so many things in the first episodes that had so little meaning, like the drill simon had, and who the spiral king really was, it literally mindfucked me. The characters were so unique, like Viral (and Yoko lol).

It's just clips from the show. Remember that the movie covers Simon's life until he grows older, so any movie would basically be a series summary, a giant plot hole, or a parallel universe or whatever like the Eureka 7 movie.
