I like this a whole lot! I have had water powered crusher in mind but didn't really know where to start!

It's been awhile since i've looked at can crushers...

I would have to say this is simply my favorite just because it runs off water that comes out of your hose!

And it does it all autonomously!

wow, you've reinvented the hydraulic wood spliter. In my state, recycling centers won't buy crushed cans from you because some people fill them with dirt before they crush them to make them heavier.

They could count a sample of say, 40 cans, check the weight, and that would tell if they were on steroids or other enhancements.

Yeah, they could but they won't. I had one bag in my truck in which every can was crushed and was told that if I brought that many in again that were crushed, they wouldn't buy from me.

I'm glad it's not an issue where I live...

though I donate my cans to our church youth group. But I store them crushed.

My 10 yr old uses an 8" section of railroad rail to pound them flat - so I'm looking at machines for ideas - probably pneumatic or hydraulic from garden hose.
