Van Halen, Motley Crue, and Paul Gilbert are the 3 main reasons I play guitar solos. I'm freaking lucky that I had such a good influence of music growing up. My mom was blaring Motley Crue and Poison on the way to work and my dad loves the 70's. I think the parents have alot to do with musical influence but its awesome that Steel Panther is trying to reintroduce REAL music to this generation. Keep rockin guys!

What Seymour duncan pickups is Satchel using? I'm thinking of buying a white Pacer classic from you guys for playing 80's stuff so it would be good to know which pickups that do the job. :)

@filionka I'm pretty sure Satchel uses stock pickups from Kramer. However the new tigerstriped pacer (production model) comes with Seymour Duncans.

@RockGuitarist09 I just saw the interview with him from Premier Guitar and he mentioned seymour duncan. Maybe he's using both. He also said that he for most of the time didn't know which pickups are in his guitars. Thanks for your answer anyway! :)

His have the Gibson USA made pickups we used in our USA reissue models a few years back. The 90R and 91T. They aren't available for aftermarket right now. The Duncan JB/JN setup would put you pretty much dead on the same as his.
