  • Thank you very much for posting that!

  • CRAZY. CRAZY, CRAZY , JERRY LEE LEWIS IS A CRAZY ROCK BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

    FROM CHILE

    SANFOR

  • Fantastic, the Great Jerry Lee, the original bad boy of Rock and Roll, he didnt give a damn, seem to remember he was at one time banned from entering the UK, because of his escapades and he was considered a bad influence on the young, it only enhanced his appeal. A great performer, a true individual, we wont see his like again. Thanks for posting.

  • This is why cocaine is good, kids.

  • Great stuff!

  • Enthusiasm and pure fun.

  • This is what cool looks like.

  • I wish I was this cool. Actually i'd settle for half

  • wow

  • Jerry THE KILLER FOREVER......

    Bop

  • the last video of whole lotta shakin i think was usd to inspire the last scene in great balls of fire in the bar where he also sing on the piano and plays as jerry does here

  • PROFESSIONAL??? this is the birth of rock and roll-remember where this era came from-the staid 50's, with Pat Boone, Patsy Cline, Jerry Vale, etc. No criticism intended, but the Boomers were tired of it and wanted something new and exciting. in comes Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis. these guys TORE IT UP. the music grabbed them in the guts and shook them to the core- the crowds went NUTS, ROCK N ROLL came at the US like a freight train. Screw "professionalism"-cut "The Killer" loose!

  • @HSECMAN

No kidding. This was about energy and attitude, not professionalism. Criticizing Jerry Lee Lewis for not being professional is akin to criticizing Iggy Pop or The Sex Pistols for the same thing.

  • The Killer is king

  • The hair fallin down and shakin around adds something to this.

  • Jerry Lee Lewis: One amazing young man. Imagine in what a dull and bigot world we would live without him. The man is not beautiful, but damn' sexy and wild and passionate. Elvis was too clean and made up. A boy meeting the phenomenon JLL.

  • Trivia Fact: 1976..Jerry Lee Lewis..went to Graceland to kill Elvis in a Drunkard Rage with a 38..so i guess the "KILLER" nickname could be used as one of those little ironies..

  • @THYCHANIE He never actually tried to kill Elvies, get your facts straight sir! :I

  • @TheRitchardgaleHater Facts are straight..i read it..and then it was reinstated on VH1..now maybe just maybe you didnt see that episode..and maybe just maybe it wasn't "blown up" as big because of who the individuals are..but..in 1976 Jerry Lee Lewis was in a Drunkard Rage..and outside of Graceland making Threats..now if someone was making threats in front of my home and with a 38 and i was Elvis..i don't think that he wanted to pat me on the back for the new album i have just released.

  • @THYCHANIE Well, I've heard a complete different story about that event so I don' really know what to believe

  • @TheRitchardgaleHater I understand..lol..just goes to show that evy'one have an Elvis or Jerry Lee story..which means they were doing something right back then.

  • Jerry Lee Lewis is GREAT!He's HIP!!!Look at his hair,it's like Donald Trumps, and like a mo-hawk-he did it first after the Indians.

  • @zaney54 I really can't see the similarity between JLL and Donald Trump's hair. Trump looks like an idiot, JLL is pure awesome.

  • @zaney54 That's not a Mohawk. And Jerry Lee sure trumps Trump (the idiot). I guess you're trying to compliment JLL, but you've failed miserably.

  • On "Whole lotta shaking", in 1957, his outstanding piano qualities aside, he´s obviously "trying" too hard. Not too professional. On "Great balls of fire" , he´s better. Anfdin "High School Confidential", 8 years after becoming a great star, he´s finally made it, asa flawless performer. And all one has to do to confirm it is tro compare how he handles "Whola lotta shaking", first in 1957, then in 1964.

  • @pulmon66 Yeah, you're right about that. But I understand why he wasnt too professional on the first one. It was his first tv apparance and great public concert ever, while he was high on cocaine and only wanted to make a great show and be a wild one. So when you look at it again, his pianoplaying is unbelievable. Look at his hands. It may not be the most professional, but it is fantastic as hell!

  • Great job on this medley. Thanks for making this "for fun" coz it is fun to watch.

  • Killer Shoes!!!!!!!! LOL

  • Thanks so much!!--brings back good memories---After the basketball games there would be a "sock-hop" in the gym---we had to remove our shoes and the lights would be dimmed and we danced on the basketball floor to records-I'm lost in the 50s

  • The Killer and Bo didley: The most original pioneers of Rock and Roll.

  • DYNAMITE !!!

  • JERRY LEE LOUIS jest genialny!!!

  • @jazzforrum itz lewis

  • The guy in the background at 4:42... he's straight from the movie Grease...! Great vid!

  • He needs better greese to hold his hair down lol

  • was high school confidential a us or british show...to me it looks like the young british worrking class 'round JLL piano...can any one advise?

  • @merlinpi1 That show was his return to England, a decade after the scandal of the 50's for which he was kicked out of the country. If I'm not mistaken I believe it was also just days after his son died, so in turn he was sort of coping by losing himself in his music.

  • Thanks for posting this, its great !! (balls of fire!!) :D

  • HEAVY METAL!! check out the crowd headbanging!! This shit rocks!

Also gotta love, Big Legged Woman!

  • Keep on going this is the best music from the greatest years in history

  • nice video .... thanks ;-)

  • Wooooooooooo

  • WOW!

  • Thank you very much for posting that!

During "High School Confidential". the public is crazy! I know if i was there i would be like them! Jerry Lee's songs makes me want to dance ;)

  • Oh yeah, Don't Knock the Rock is my absolute number one favorite performance of Jerry Lee. It had much better sound and visual quality than any of the 50s clips, it had amazing big band backing (with the trumpets and such in Whole Lotta Shakin), he performed this just after rebounding from the Myra scandal, the English crowd went absolutely crazy, and he just did what he did best and it showed that he enjoyed every minute of it: playing the piano! My opinion, this is Jerry at his absolute best.

  • Really fine job creating this!! And thanks for posting it!!

  • GREAT! love 0:55

  • Génial!!

  • awesome
