I suggest to keep on playing and collect the rest. It's not unusual that the game tells you there is one more ego reward in this level. Some of them have multiple possible locations and I probably collect it later on (or you missed it in a level before). Go back via mission select after finishing the story.

I guess you died after getting an ego reward. If you die before reaching the next Checkpoint it won't count. Replay all the levels where you seem to miss a thing and do everything that is shown in the video.

I didn't miss anything. Most of the ego cap rewards can be collected at different locations. I collect them only once and on the first opportunity in the game. If you didn't follow the video guide from scratch you might not get the trophy / achievement. Don't forget, that you have to make it to the next checkpoint when you collected something.

A +2 Ego Boost isn't a good enough reward for the time wasted sinking every ball on that damn pool table. You have more control over the pinball game and a better chance at winning that using the strategy posted here then you do with that "Hit Ball To Make It Fly In Random Direction at Random Speed" bullshit.

The ego rewards will be lost if you die before reaching the next checkpoint. After reaching a checkpoint it will be saved and you could leave the game.

I guess you are missing #3 and #12. Both of them can be collected in the Strip Club as well.

You have to get to a checkpoint after getting the ego cap. If you die or quit the game beffore getting to a checkpoint, you will lose the ego cap. This is very important for people who are going through the levels individually after beating the game to get this achievement.

I guess you missed #10 (even if you didn't, it's possible that you died before reaching the next checkpoint which won't count). Doesn't matter if you beat the pinball score in the duke cave or in the strip club. Once you got an ego reward it will count for all chapters.
