@BritZ1997 he's playing in 6th pos on the G and D strings. gives it a richer tone on the violin (I play violin). but you could probably get away with normal pos on viola (just scale up) since it has a naturally rich tone anyway.

@pmbazman15 the room theyre in probably has a lot to do with it, but the guy is also playing really high on the G string, which gives it a different tone rather than playing lower on a higher pitched string

i think the speed of the violin sounds great it catches your mind and and with the slow piano it makes emotional. yes i may sound crazy to some people but when you are a musician and you like to play the music at the speed you like then its personal to you play on the sweet music :)

love the slides could use more to own the peice....lol, all ariel did was slide her voice if you noticed, which is cool, nice use of 3 octaves hmm might do that myself but with a viola. i liked your vibrato, some more variation of it could have added to the effect such as a whole arm vibrato. g string sounds nice but you should have done it either on the d or a, it just sounds like a more open peice then a more serious piece which are played on the g string well hope you like the comment see ya"
