  • always wonder why you didn't relic hunt. now i know you not only did but, have much knowledge about it and the civil war. impressed!

  • Great video! thanks for sharing

  • I'm from the South too and my approach to the Civil War is lot like yours. There are quite a few nice civil war-era Confederate items that my dad managed to inherit that will be mine some day. I like your display box and rifle. Fighting for something you believe in that history says was wrong is tragic, but it's the fact they fought that counts. Our children's children's children may be tested and I hope there's some futuristic 3-ringer waiting for whoever decides to mess with them. HH!

  • Man its great to have you back.

    I really missed you're videos.

now its cooled off maybe we all can do more detecting.

    Welcome back !!!!! lol

  • Thanks for sharing your previous finds and knowledge of the civil war and the relics that you found . I have watched all of your videos and to me this has been one of my favorites . We would have never known that you had collected all of the civil war relics if you hadnt taken the time to show them . It's obvious you have the knowledge of firearms and the history of the bullets etc . Thanks again and we love your videos ! HH

  • hey la digger i love your videos and ive watched almost all of them i just want to ask for a favor, that you make a video of all your silver rings and jewery that you have

    HH God Bless

  • Really nice collection, I subscribed to your channel. Can't wait to see what else you find :)

  • TY ,Wiccals, HH

  • Thanks for opening your house so we could see some of your Civil War collection. You really hit it hard for the relics a one time. Good to see you out. Us Northern boys will need some of your heat this Winter La. Thanks!

  • The more I see guys digging Civil War relics, the more interested I get in that time period. Nice three-ringer bullet you found. Your displays are nice. Don't know if there are any Civil War relics in central Ohio. Maybe down in southern Ohio around Kentucky there are some. Great to see you getting out there. It's starting to get cold here but tomorrow is supposed to be warm - 64-degrees. Pretty soon we'll be relying on you Southern Boys to get us through winter again. heh-heh

  • There were Indiana troop down here at one time, I know a guy who found an Indiana bayonet in the woods .There were Ohio troop veterans I'm sure, there may be a few musketballs around there somewhere. Thanks Dan, HH

  • Very interesting Digger! You are a dedicated metal detectorist to say the least. Thanks for showing us some of your treasures. I heard some guy a year or two ago blew himself to Kingdom Come when he was trying to restore an old Civil War cannon ball. The naval balls are waterproofed and can still be set off by careless handling!

  • Yea, Black powder stays viable when dried out. I read about that guy, with all due respect , he knew what he was doing, but it is dangerous to fool with live artillery shells, even if they are 150 years old. Thanks, HH

  • nice vid
